OFFICIAL Cyberpunk 2077 Game Discussion

Huh? PBO is stock. If you can't run it stock then yea your chip has issues.

i should have clarified, i can't run any of the 4 enhanced modes on my mobo without errors in game. regular stock is fine.

is that the auto overclocking stuff? those arent really PBO, they're an extra thingy

I've seen you post that before about PBO not working but didn't make much of it as it was a tangent. However all the boards I've seen have PBO on auto stock. Technically PBO on auto is disabled.

"Precision Boost OVERDRIVE is what AMD is calling it when those three thresholds are bumped up. The default setting for PBO is “auto,” which the stock specification defines as disabled; further, AMD’s own review guide states to disable PBO for reviews, as the Overdrive portion is not spec. That’s what we did for our review, just like how we disable MCE for Intel. The default numbers can be pulled from the chip (overdrive disabled) or higher numbers can be pulled from the motherboard (overdrive enabled). Setting overdrive to “enabled,” setting overdrive to “advanced,” and specifying the motherboard as the source did the same thing on the two boards we tested for this content, but the two motherboards set different values."

Thus if you have to disable PBO outright then you've got issues. It's only between your cpu and motherboard... Any of the four modes causes crashing then I'd look at your board.

it says enhanced PBO mode, 4 different modes.

also i never tested PBO or any of the 4 modes with my ram at stock 2133. so maybe its my ram causing the issue.

it might not actually be anything, I have read World of Warcraft has issues with ryzen in general and always has. everything else is always solid for me but that game, so eh. i dunno

I didn't think pictures of life-like dildo's were allowed in TPU. Kinds breaks a rule. At least put in "spoiler" tags...
It was mentioned early on in the thread that such content was acceptable because of the game’s rating. I don’t know if that’s still the case. I tried to find the mod that mentioned it at the one time.

The game's rating might be that, but the forum rules do not change and still apply. Sexual content is not allowed. That picture qualifies.

New version out with some serious gains.

I'm usually sceptical about these game enhancers, but I gave EZ Optimiser 2.0 a whirl on my FX8350/RX580/16Gb RAM rig and the improvement was noticeable using the 'balanced' tweak on medium graphic settings.
I'll give max boost and max boost+ a go later on.
From 40 fps to around 60 fps, except in densely populated areas, where it does dip again. I should reduce crowd density in that case and then try the 'fix' on my main rig.

35GB with GoG, i'll actually try the game again with this installed

Hi. Does anybody play the game after update 1.2? I removed the game from my computer after experiencing terrible gameplay. I really wanted to play it asap when it is released. However, those bugs and performance made me uninstall the game. What do you think about the game nowadays?

58GB update commencing.
Steam downloaded a 28.8 GB update earlier. Then it complained of invalid files, and downloaded another 9.8 GB.

The bug where you T-pose naked while driving is still there in patch 1.2 LOL, kinda disappointing.

Don't blame the game for your poor perf your system is to blame for that old CPU, Mobo and ram on a game that's very hardware demanding mmmm no amount of patches are going to fix that sorry to say but that's how it is

The game should actually run on that kind of hardware
it runs on my hardware (3200g and 1060) his should have no problems

Run yes perform well (which is one of his complaints) probably not your also using a newer CPU arch and DDR4 and PCIe 3.0 or 4.0 depending on what your mobo allows

The game runs fine. It's glitch free at this point. On the PC in your specs you'll need to turn down some settings but should get playable framerates.
