Did some more testing on my main and secondary PC. I looked at total power consumption in Mass Effect: Andromeda, checking the same scene with the same exact settings. The FX8300/HD7970 rig was consuming 410w in game and peaked at 492w during shader generation on first launch. The 3300X/6600XT combo was at 109w and 151w, respectively. 1080p with V-sync @ 60.
So far, my estimates are checking out. Almost 4x less energy used when gaming. For Earth!
