Need Help Finding: Coinmine RX 580 2048sp (8gb) stockbios

So I bought this card third party from a seller on eBay linked here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/124787137308#cvip_desc

And in the description for the GPU it says

However recently I've been getting "code 43" every morning and GPU-z doesn't work immediately. After further research, this has to do with the fact that it's a mining card with custom bios, hence my need to put it back into stock bios.

But after further speculation when I look at the GPU specs it says it's actually a Polaris GPU(located here): https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/radeon-rx-580-2048sp.c3321

However, CoinMine must've modded it because it has 8 GB of memory rather than the expected 4GB. And I can't find the bios for the Polaris, Please help me I'm in desperate need if there is any other information necessary please ask, I've been dealing with this problem for about a year and I don't want to deal with it any longer.

Hello.
Based on the description you provided to us, the pictures and the links you put, i've come to the conclusion that this card BIOS is original.
I mean it was designed especially for mining not for computing.
Even you highlighted the text that describes exactly that " Without using the software windows will give "Code 43"...
For example i have a batch of Radeon RX 480 that does not even have a display adapter - you can't connect a monitor to any of them.
They were sold by Sapphire as "Mining Edition"
So why in the world you would decide to pay for a card that was designed only for mining and to try after that to use it in a gaming system ?

Sorry, When I purchased this GPU I didn't really know the difference all I knew was that I was looking for an rx 580 with 8gb, (because it was the cheapest 8gb card I knew of at the time). And since I bought it at the height of the GPU shortage and since it said in the title that it was a "gaming graphics card"\

Me and my small brain thought that it was fine. I'm now more knowledgeable on the topic and regret buying it, but it's not in my budget to buy another GPU.

Since this is the actual original BIOS is it possible for me to get a gaming bios for this card, and if so could you provide the bios I could use?

Can you provide pictures with the sticker and with the memory modules of the card?
Does the card have dual bios? Maybe the other bios works better(if it has dual bios)

You need to remove the cooler and take a picture of the ram and chip inside so i can try to find a vbios for you. (i cant be sure that the information you gave me about the card are accurate). Ive looked into it and i didnt find much and some people are even saying that it could be an RX 570 more than an RX 580.(sounds kinda weird yeah)

Anyway you could try flashing this (based on the info you provided, at your own risk, not sure if it will make any difference)

AMD RX 580 VBIOS

This is what I used to install driver after mudding the bios VRAM timings for higher hashrates.

Atikmdag Patcher 1.4.12: Download & How To Use [2023] Latest

Ati Dag Patcher: Download from official site, GitHub, Configure for Windows. In this tutorial, you will learn how to set up and use the latest Atikmdag Patcher 1.4.12 and newer.

How to use Atikmdag Patcher

Step 1 - Download the program

We go to the official site with releases and press the "Download" button. The download will start in 10 seconds. Or download the archive from the official forum. Extract the archive to any convenient folder.

Step 2 - Run the program

Run downloaded atikmdag-patcher.exe.
If all video card limits are found, click "Yes" to correct and sign. If no limits are found or multiple matches are found, the patcher must be updated to the latest version.
If an error occurs, it is sufficient to reinstall the GPU driver.

Step 3 - Restart your computer

Error “43”

Quite often the “43” error appears on the video card. She reports problems. If you need to patch the video card driver, then you need to use the Atikmdag patcher. Then follow the simple steps:

if i am not mistaken Polaris 20 XL is RX 570 not RX 580. (so better dont flash anything before you show us the pictures of the card)

I cant see the model number on the vRAM chips, can you try focus more on them? Or can you try to read the version from them and write it after?

Its a Gigabyte card by the sticker on the back

Get a pic of a ram chip that has the most legible stencil on it, need to know if it is hynix afr or mfr ram.

If the Vram is the black thing it's seriously Faded and unintelligible even in person

also I already closed the GPU and put it back in my PC but I have more pictures if necessary.

Also about the RX 570 thing, after a little more research the rx 580 2048 SP is actually a polaris rx 570, it says so on this techpowerup article: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/radeon-rx-580-2048sp.c3321

What does the RAM chip look like in the GPU ?

Well without knowing the vRAM type i can only guess what vBios you need and that can brick your card, do you have iGPU (on the cpu)? Maybe @eidairaman1 can land a hand and give you a suggestion.

Based on your gpu motheboard (113-GA13V10 ) i find vbioses only with Micron memory and we are not sure (at least im not) what type of vRAM you have.
