Could you help me with mine. Asus P6T rev. 1.0
Thanks.
It is clear that the demands will never end.
Whatever:
I added a total of 20 NVMe SSD Modules for Asus P6T.
The bios file has been rebuilt for you.
But this is the end now.
Sorry I don't have time and I'm very busy.
This is not my only job.
I have a lot of work waiting for me.
I hope that you appreciate.

GA-EX58-UD3R rev1.6/1.7 ssd nvme Adata Legend 960
https://cloud.mail.ru/public/buuc/U2aNhSdeT - hot reset, slow. why I don't understand
https://cloud.mail.ru/public/7Po7/AtrwiKgxN - boot after power off, fast. Start record and after press power boton
the old monitor slows down with switching modes, so it's mostly dark))
There should only be a stick installed in ram slot 2 on the motherboard. Other ram slots should be left empty. Or unplug or cancel any other connected SATA connections for now.
Lastly, your NVMe SSD might be problematic.
In short, this question has nothing to do with the bios.

Thanks Ismail for adding nvme support for asus p6t7 ws supercomputer motherboard. I was able to update the bios and installed windows 11 in legacy bios mode on samsung 980 1tb nvme drive. Few screenshots are attached.
These pictures were very helpful for ASUS P6T7 WS SuperComputer NVMe SSD BIOS MOD that you use extra.
I immediately confirm the ASUS P6T7 WS SuperComputer NVMe SSD BIOS MOD Line on the first page as Successful.
I wish everyone was as friendly and helpful as you.
Thank you for your support..

Hi İsmailTPC_Hastanesi,
I really thank you and thank you for your sharing "bios mod". I used the mod file for the Asus P6T-SE mainboard (on your post) but I can't see the nvme disc in the bios; I can't install Windows on the nvme disk too. Please help me. My nvme is Lexar NM620 512Mb. (Included the original bios file from Asus Hompage)
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks again.

I added your hardware ids to the original bios from the Asus homepage. You can check. I hope it works well.

Mr. Ismail, I just found out about the terrible earthquake in your country of Turkey.
I hope you're doing well and staying safe sir.
Wishing all the best to him, to his country.

x58 chipset works on legacy bios platform. Hardware ids must be added to activate the nvme disk. Bios editing is not recommended.

Hi Ismail,

I have a Rampage 3 Extreme since 2011! just amazing...glory to the X58!
Currently with a boot in 5 seconds with usb duet2020, already very satisfied with my nvme.
Following the discovery this day of your forum my curiosity is too strong... congratulations to you! sincerely you have all my respect! but before getting into the action:

My setup:
980x at 4.42Ghz (uclk:4259), Swiftech h320 push pull, 2080ti, 48Gb, 2x 970PRO 1TB with Alphacool eisblock hdx-2 adapters, Silverstone ecu05 (usb3.1), Realtek pci gbe ethernet, Phanteks enthoo primo and one of my most beautiful evolutions: Dell AW2721D 1440p 240hz gsync

My usage, via 2x profiles saves in the bios:

Profile 1:
1x 970Pro-1TB (LTSC2019) + 1x 970Pro-1TB (dcs world + backup) with chips disables: sata intel, marvell, Gbe, nic, jmicron, 1394, usb3

Profile 2, word/xls/internet, cpu at 1.6Ghz:
W7-SATA with simply ssd and hdd (os, backup) connected to ICH10 (970Pro disabled)

Can you confirm for me:
- do I have to inject my device hardware ID myself into your bios?
- that my Profile 2 (in sata) will be operational?
- that the TRIM function is present for my ssd in sata as well as for my nvme?

I notice that the dates on google drive of the ROM (R3E) are different (page1: 03/01/23 vs page9: 24/12/22)
- what is the difference please? and what is the archive password?
- my first analysis will be the rom used for my cpu (206C2), because if >2018 (1E or 1F) the benefit gained by your excellent work will be lost to me (because nothing must weaken my cpu and no problem to be exposed to viruses or other which ultimately does not affect anyone..., in short, no mitigations for me and in particular on the ROM).

If injection ROM R13, R14 or 1D from 2015:
I currently have nvme with results 1720 read and 1650 write:
- according to you my flows will be > or =?

Regarding my 970Pro with LTSC2019 which therefore starts with duet:
- logically I don't need to do a clean installation? No?
- currently I restore my LTSC2019 backup images with macrium reflect (duet upstream), will this backup and restore process still work?

Before injecting your bios, can you confirm for me:
- no sata cables connected?
- ok to insert the second 970Pro?
- ok to insert the other expansion cards (Ethernet/USB3)?

Thank you in advance for the time granted!

- If you using "usb duet boot", no need to do anything else. Read/Write speed were being max on your system.
- x58 does not support nvme. The act of adding "hardware ids" to the bios will make the mainboard accept the nvme attached to the pciex slot and boot directly from itself. That's all.
- You just have 2 way for choice:
1). use usb with software (duet, clover....)
2). mod bios with hardware ids

I suspected that but the pleasure of testing and tweaking sometimes leads to a nice surprise. Then it may be useful for other R3E. The experience and its transmission can sometimes bring a lot to others.
We don't see your last sentence, could you duplicate it please? below is my record, what i don't understand is that it was with a bios mod with 1E!

- If you choose to boot the system with a usb duet, there is no need to add hardware ids to the bios.
- If you want to boot directly from nvme without using any other software, you must add hardware ids to bios, reinstall the operating system. No sata cable required. No problem with other expansion cards. I don't understand where the 1E rom comes from? I just see rom bios ver. 1401, 1502....Screenshot_20230209_051105_Chrome.jpg

Specific to my R3E, here is my bible since 2012:
A thought for ZioGTS, Pir8man and all the others including SkOrPn... Thank you!
And so currently, for my 206C2, satisfied with the S23o: included 1C Rev.13 of 09/2010 (1502)
The S20 is with the 1E bios of 01/2018
The S21 and the S23 it is with the last bios 1F of 05/2018

I understood. Your rom bios support RAID MODE. All the best performance on your system. I think no need to change anything.

You have few more choices:
1). use usb with software (duet, clover, grub2....) and Install windows 11 directly on NVME ssd drive in GPT partition in emulated UEFI mode(use rufus tool to install windows 11 with GPT)
2). mod bios with hardware ids and install windows 11 directly on NVME ssd drive in MBR partition in Legacy BIOS mode(use rufus tool to install windows 11 with MBR option)
3). mod bios with hardware ids and follow step 1(install windows 11 in UEFI mode on nvme drive), remove clover USB disk and install clover on fixed SATA SSD and boot windows 11 on NVME ssd drive in GPT partition in emulated UEFI mode.

https://cvad-mac.narod.ru/index/bootdiskutility_exe/0-5 (clover boot disk to install on fixed sata disk or usb disk)
Note: Either sata disk with clover or usb disk with clover should be connected at a time, or else system hangs when both clover disks are connected. Usb disk with clover is required to install windows 11 in uefi mode, after that clover on sata disk should be able to boot windows 11 installed on nvme disk. USB disk is not required after installation, remove it and boot from Clover on sata disk , which can disply windows 11 on NVME drive with EFI loader..

Thank you for your feedback. And yes I believe that my system is already optimized enough, or not... .

In relation to points 1) to 3):
- W11 does not interest me, my feeling is that this type of bone restricts our X58 but it all depends on its use, for me it's gaming (dcs world) with therefore the need for a lot of resources to make the most of the capabilities of this platform where the potential is just incredible.
- My duet boot system by usb (which I disconnect arrived under LTSC) as well as my use:
Profile 1: war machine
Profile 2: energy saving, increased lifespan
Allows me to switch to its full potential with, for example, the deactivation of R3E functions: sata intel, marvell, Gbe, nic, jmicron, 1394, usb3 as well as my 2 additional pcie cards ECU05 and realtek ethernet (if no network games ).
And so a duet boot via sata does not interest me. For info if needed my UEFI loading via usb2.0 is 1 to 2 seconds max.
- For the creation of usb duet and my os iso I use rufus 3.3, what is the difference with Bootdisk utility? And what exactly is "r5150" for xeon? Clover vs duet: benefits for whom and why? I may be misinformed but feedback less good with clover (boot time), wrong?
- Not sure to have understood point 3), ok need to reinstall os but imperative with clover? And couldn't we create an nvme partition dedicated to duet? or clover...? with Ismail's bios upstream?

Today, apart from the pleasure of wanting to test Ismail's mod bios out of curiosity, the points that have me wondering for my R3E system that remain to be refined are the following:
- Best OS for X58. Personally I opt for the LTSC 2019 (without any updates) but that remains subjective for me because I have never made a comparison with other light os. As well as the rest of the optimizations to apply or not to the OS..., deemed beneficial for my use and my choices: the deactivation of certain services, inspectre, the optimization of the task scheduler, the application of a few lines of commands under cmd and powerschell, gpedit.msc, mcupdate_GenuineIntel.dll, disabling some unnecessary devices in device manager, applying some settings from windows10manager/W10Pricay/Optimizer/Sophia script/cacheBooster.
- After comes the choice of drivers on the OS: generic microsoft "2006" or those made by X58 manufacturers or new drivers like samsung for my nvme. Personally, after numerous tests and then a comparison between W10pro and LTSC2019, I have the feeling that "unfortunately" the Microsoft generics are slightly better, but not categorical on the subject.

Then refining my OC:
- Increase my PCIE frequency to see if this really generates an increase in nvme speeds to approach the theoretical maximum attainable: 2GB/s on our PCIE2.0 in 4x. Personally I did not dare to exceed 110Mhz (necessary for the oc of my cpu) for fear for my 2080ti... but people on x58 have revealed increases in nvme speeds with values >110: from 120 to 130Mhz
- My IOH/ICH must imperatively be set to at least 1.16v for OCCT validation. But according to my research, it is useful to raise it to 1.20v (max) for graphics cards that consume CPU resources/power consumption. I always apply the minimum voltage necessarily useful for OC, but for the ioh/ich, with the variable of a 2080ti connected I have a doubt about this setting, especially since sometimes I have better GPU bench with a voltage at 1.20v, but in most cases it remains the same with 1.16v, so potential benefit/risk... with additional heat generated on the SB but easily evacuated by my Phanteks... in short, it's a detail passionate!

Hi ismailTPC_Hastanesi and thanks for all your work!
Hope your are well after this terrible earthquake
i would to ask support for my evga E762 board
I used with clover and with a big issue, the pcie card with NVME run only at Gen 1 x4 (max 850 MB/s)
I read about this issue on EVGA forum on the same board
When i loos all hope i finished on your topic, i would to ask if your can provide a modded bios for my PCI/VEN_15B7&DEV_5006
i put it on a new sabrent card model EC-PCIE 16x and also an ASUS Hyper M.2 V2 (16x) and nothing changed
thanks in adv

Clover is a bootloader to load UEFI stuff on your legacy BIOS machine like X58 motherboards. You can use any of these (clover, grub2, duet, refind...)

Clover r5150 version is what we used, you can use any latest clover version using bootdisk utility. Bootdisk utility has options to create clover bootdisk on usb or sata disks with one click. Follow this post for more details https://winraid.level1techs.com/t/g...-uefi-bios-clover-efi-bootloader-method/31665

Windows 11 supports nvme gpt disk drives and see a performance boost in games with some cache options. No more 2tb disk size limits using uefi/gbt papartitions., etc...

usb3, marvell sata, 1394, gbe all works without any extra drivers for gigabyte GA-X58A-OC motherboard Using windows 11.

My gigabyte GA-X58A-OC motherboard supports most of the energy saving options like s1 , s3 states. Sleep mode works always and loads quickly from sleep mode. Where as my other asus ws super computer x58 does not wake up from sleep mode. Rest all features working as expected.

Ismail bios mod is useful for mbr partition only on legacy bios for x58 motherboards, does not support uefi gpt partition. So you have to use separate usb disk based emulated uefi boot loaders like duet, clover, grub2...

I don't like to use usb drive to boot load my windows 11 on nvme gpt partion, so installed clover on sata ssd , so that clover efi bootloader can load windows 11 on gpt nvme disk.
