Well, AMD did announce that a new driver for the RX 6000 and earlier cards would be out in under two weeks, not meant for RX 7900 series consumption. I guess they're still working on unifying the driver for RX 7900 and earlier series.
Yeah they conviently say in 2 weeks while its already been more then 2 months by now heck its been 8+ months without a stable driver for some its been 12+ months, their 2 weeks eta is a distraction from reality.
AMD pulls up curtain in front of everyone eyes, so no one see's the driver issues they are having with their drivers, really shameful.
I got a whole list of topics all having blackscreens greenscreens and other driver issues, you aren't fooling me that this is all hardware issues.
AMD updated their video scheduler to fix dx11 and opengl performance and now their drivers been unstable since, using old gen for testing their new gen cards that already failed with many QA issues not just drivers but hardware as well.
And they keep on trying to pull a curtain in front of all their issues they are having, actual gpu reviews these days are far from the reality of experiences other users are having.
What makes things worse is Nvidia having their own issues and Intel cannot compete yet and is still progressing their drivers.
Imagine wanting to escape driver hell, but the real driver hell is having driver issues no matter what brand you go with, and it does not even stop there brands like Samsung get away with everything as well because omg cool monitor super ultrawide 32:9, they can just give away a monitor to a influencer to shill for them, meanwhile they cover up the fact that 980 pro is destroying it self on old firmware bug that only came out recently.
Im really hating everything right now especially fanboys that defend this kind of behaviour.
Still not seeing any communication from AMD regarding these driver issues past 8+ months on windows, lets convert everyone with driver issues to a Linux user, better install Arch linux as well manually step by step so youcan troubleshoot your linux issues with ease.
