Clover is a bootloader to load UEFI stuff on your legacy BIOS machine like X58 motherboards. You can use any of these (clover, grub2, duet, refind...)

Clover r5150 version is what we used, you can use any latest clover version using bootdisk utility. Bootdisk utility has options to create clover bootdisk on usb or sata disks with one click. Windows 11 supports nvme gpt disk drives and see a performance boost in games with some cache options. No more 2tb disk size limits using uefi/gbt papartitions., etc...

usb3, marvell sata, 1394, gbe all works without any extra drivers for gigabyte GA-X58A-OC motherboard Using windows 11.

My gigabyte GA-X58A-OC motherboard supports most of the energy saving options like s1 , s3 states. Sleep mode works always and loads quickly from sleep mode. Where as my other asus ws super computer x58 does not wake up from sleep mode. Rest all features working as expected.

Ismail bios mod is useful for mbr partition only on legacy bios for x58 motherboards, does not support uefi gpt partition. So you have to use separate usb disk based emulated uefi boot loaders like duet,clover, grub2...

I don't like to use usb drive to boot load my windows 11 on nvme gpt partion, so installed clover on sata ssd , so that clover efi bootloader can load windows 11 on gpt nvme disk.

Regarding clover r5150, is it as fast to load UEFI as my duet edk2020 refind in 1-2 seconds max?
Besides, it looks a lot like your bootdisk utility, with an .exe to create a boot disk in 1 click, never tested with a sata ssd.
Regarding my intel, marvell, Gbe, nic, jmicron, 1394, usb3 sata deactivation: no driver problem with LTSC2019 and W10Pro, it's just deactivating in my bios, except USB2 for duet, in order to optimize resources when i switch to my profil1: cpu OC and nvme 970pro.
Personally with my R3E I have no problem waking up and it's extremely fast, maybe related to my mod bios, also available the S1 and S3 power functions.
If I understood correctly, in the end I don't see any real interest in using this bios if I always have to use a boot loader. Eventually to test I could load it on the bios n°2. Moreover, I don't have the skills to inject the device hardware ID of my 970Pro and to remedy this I will need several hours of learning excluding tests, unless I send you my device hardware ID? but I think I understood that this is no longer the philosophy of the forum.

Not sure if you know but the old Samsung 950 pro m.2 nvme works as boot drive with legacy bios found one new a couple years ago problem is they only come in 256 and 512 GB but works great for a boot drive for storage any nvme m.2 drive will work in window it just won't show up in the boot menu or in the bios I use a Samsung 970 Evo plus 2TB for storage

yes completely agree with you it is not without risk and without 2x bios chips for redundancy I would not start... .
Afterwards it seems to me that mmtool or another utility allows the verification of the bios for validation, but I do not know if it is a simple verification of storage footprint capacity for example or really a simulation of the overall operation of the whole BIOS: ID, romloc, size... including our device hardware ID for nvme.
I use this utility just to check what was injected as rom version for the cpu.

I used with clover and with a big issue, the pcie card with NVME run only at Gen 1 x4 (max 850 MB/s)
I read about this issue on EVGA forum on the same board

so just for update u, system now recognise disk but have error on boot i will investigate how setup a native boot in the next week

Ok I got it P6X58D-E updated. make sure you set bios to default before entering EZ Flash and save your overclocks to your profile all settings restored now time to test the 970 EVO

It works Samsung 970 EVO in boot drives menu I didn't boot from it because it's the storage drive for my other PC and this one has the 950 Pro but now, I can sell this drive and get 2TB Samsung EVO for cheap.

I hope you are safe and don't have family members in danger in the southeast.
I was shocked with the news on monday morning and with the footage later that day and now still.
It's a shocking disaster that left everyone speachless.

If you have the time i would appreciate your help, after all you do have the PC Hospital (Hastanesi)

My M/B is the Notorious GA-EX58-UD5 rev.1
I already tried the Modded Bios, twise, and it lead to the C1-> C3 ->02 -> C1 boot loop, just like the other guy (chuppakabra or something), cause i actually did read all 15 pages ))
But thank God for DualBios.

My NVMe drive is the Western Digital Blue SN570 1TB and the relevant Hardware Id's are in the Screenshot.
I'm also attaching a good working copy of my current Bios (latest f13) for good measure.

First I want to thank you for bringing a new life to our old X58 motherboard. I hope you and your friends/family are fine in Turkey regarding recent events.

I'm writing you down as I have a problem with a modded bios I made for Asus Rampage II Extreme. Booting the NVME SSD on cold boot is working but each time I am doing a windows restart, the bios freezes with a small white "-" showing on the top left side of the screen :'(
I've inserted the Nvme OpRom found on WinRaid forum using the VEN_ID and DEV_ID of my device (A Crucial P1 1TB, VEN_C0A9&DEV_2263). I want to report that i've tried the BIOS mod for Asus P6T6 WS Revolution and i got a empty black screen at boot
I had to buy a flash programmer to recover the boot, no problem, it can be usefull for my work
