@unclewebb Any idea why Windows Defender does this all of a sudden? It reports that's it's a trojan horse..
I know, it's all at my own risk. I find ThrottleStop better then Intel XTU which never save any settings on cold boot or whatever. It's the only option left to use.Adjusting the voltage of a processor is dangerous. Good on Defender for letting you know this.
If you do not feel comfortable running ThrottleStop then do not run it. I know ThrottleStop is safe but there is no way I am going to be able to convince Microsoft or Intel that it is safe. Use TS at your own risk.
I would also like to be a Beta-Tester for the 9.5.1 version of Throttlestop for undervolting my I9 13900K.That is correct. TS 9.5 does not work correctly on 13th Gen CPUs. I will send you a download link to a TS beta version that should work OK.
That is good to hear. Looking forward to seeing some more tests.incredible difference between this 2 versions.
@ColinMacLaren
Did you try deleting the ThrottleStop.INI configuration file? Post a screenshot of the FIVR window if you are still having problems.
It is the only available bios for this notebook.@ColinMacLaren
Your FIVR screenshot clearly shows that Undervolt Protection is enabled. You need to disable UVP in the BIOS or install an older BIOS version that does not automatically enable UVP.

Can i get the download link? im using i5 13600k and asus tuf b760m. Wanted to undervolt cuz the temp went to 100C instantly using r24. I tested using Throttlestop but didnt workYou are correct that ThrottleStop was developed mostly for laptops but it should work correctly on desktop or mobile CPUs. If you ever see something that doesn't seem to work, let me know so I can fix the problem.
Check your messages. I just sent you a download link. If you are interested in doing any ThrottleStop 9.5.1 beta testing, post some screenshots of the new version so I can see if it works correctly on your 13th Gen CPU. I do not yet own any 13th Gen hardware for testing purposes so I need some help from the user community. Thanks.
If you are still having problems, post an updated screenshot of the FIVR window. TS 9.5.1 that I sent you will show Undervolt Protection if that is the reason why you cannot undervolt. Go in the BIOS and disable Undervolt Protection (UVP) if you can find this setting. I think some motherboards with the B760 or B660 chipset might forget to include this feature in the BIOS. The ability to undervolt the 13600K can be used to significantly reduce the CPU temperature with no loss in performance.I tested using ThrottleStop but didn't work

Yes. Your FIVR screenshot shows that Intel Undervolt Protection is enabled. That is what is preventing you from undervolting. I hope you can find a way to disable this. If you cannot find an option in the BIOS to control this, think about installing a previous BIOS version if any are available.this?
I disabled UVP in bios. I have the first version of bios that came out for Asus tuf gaming b760m but the problem is still thereYes. Try updating the BIOS to a newer version. If that does not work then contact Asus. The disable Undervolt Protection BIOS feature appears to be broken.I disabled UVP in bios
