RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra Problem ROM

Hello, my case is next
I had 2 graphics cards connected to the PC, a 12 GB 3060 XC EVGA to give the PC an image
And an RTX EVGA 3080 FTW3 ULTRA to flash it from NVFLASH
By mistake I flashed the 3080 with the 3060 rom and now from the device manager I see 2 RTX 3060, one is the one that is fine, which is 1, and the second that appears transparent after clicking on show hidden devices, a message appears 2 rtx 3060, which when you give it puts what you see in the photos

The rtx 3080 appears as 3060 when flashed badly, when you revert the driver it does nothing, from several versions of nvflash the 3060 appears, which is fine, but the other one does not appear so I don't know how to flash it

Using DDU in safe mode I was able to put the 3080 as the basic display adapter, but when connected to nvidia it updates directly as 3060 because it has the 3060 rom inside

Any solution or help is appreciated, since now I have the gpu as a paperweight

DDU doesn't revert the ROM file. If you don't have a backup of the 3080 ROM you've got a paperweight. If you do, the only way to fix it is to manually flash the BIOS. Basically any software flash you're gonna do is expecting 3060 architecture, but since it's a 3080 the wrong things go in the wrong places. The fix is to use the backup ROM, if you have one, or someone has to desolder and reflash the ROM with a ROM chip flasher.

If you attempt to reflash the chip without desoldering it, you may have more problems, either failing to flash properly due to interference from other components on the board, or in the worst case damaging other components on the board. Also you have to make sure that the programmer you're using is compatible with the BIOS chip you have.

It may be possible to reflash in-circuit using a chip clip and a programmer, but you should get a reliable and trustworthy brand if you want to attempt this.

Disconnect from internet, so Windoze won't install drivers after DDU. Here is a copy in TPU database, you can flash it.

Hello ! Thank you for your message, This GPU has OC and normal bios, But neither works, since I mistakenly updated from NVFLASH the rom to a wrong rom, neither normal nor OC mode works

Just flash (MAKE SURE YOU ARE FLASHING 3080 AND NOT 3060) with an appropriate one using nvflash.exe (https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-nvflash/) and reboot.

Your DDU can't do anything BIOS-related so you just wasted your time. Drivers and BIOS are different things.

In case nvflash sends you something like "it's impossible bruh" you have to flash using your ch341a.

My 3080 is 10 GB but since NVFLASH does not appear, I used several versions of NVFLASH. When I put nvflash --list , it gives me 0 RTX 3060 , but 1 does not give me anything, try nvflash -i1 -b bios.rom and nvflash -i1 -4 -5 bios.rom and nothing says nvidia adapter not found, even if I exchange the graphics, the 3060 still appears in position 0 and the 3080 does not appear in 1, so it is almost impossible to flash from nvflash

The only solution that I see is to buy the ch341a that will arrive in 4-5 days, and with that I hope to be able to fix it although I have no idea how it goes or if I need to look for a file of the 3080 ftw3 ultra to put it with the ch341a or how put it

Hardware faults are not fixed via bios flashing, you will need to replace the card.

Ok you had a problem with the card before you flashed it, thats a hardware fault. Now you bricked the card. Get a spi flasher and put the card on a shelf
