I wish. Its not the first product I have purchased there. 35$ waterblock for AM4 - the difference from XSPC Raystorm Pro - about 2- Degrees Celsius. I have waterblock from Bykski for Radeon VII too - 35 Idle 65-68 Hotspot max temps. and numerous compression and other fittings.

Yes. Physical knobs, sockets, switches, lights, meters, sliders. No need to explain, :rockout:

It was for a live performance, no software for that. Turns out the venue has a good power mixer, so no need for it.

I actually like Zotac's design for the 4000 series. Despite the jokes that they look like the rounded SpongeBob, it's at least some fresh air in the midst of all the chonky bricks.

And it was cheap!

Well.. relatively. It will be fine.. worst case I have to open it up and use a good thermal interface. But it will be in my little Torrent, so it should be ok..

Does it not break your warranty? I mean, either UV the crap outta the card or commit to RMA. Innit the reason people buy BNIB from retailers?

I honestly don't think I will have a problem with it. I have had a Zotac Amp Extreme before, and it was an awesome card.. been awhile since I rolled with Zotac, I don't have anything bad to say about them. Plus its not like the card is a power monger.. it should be ok..

Anything eating more than 200 W is a power monger for me. But yeah, I've never seen a 4070 Ti with a weak cooling solution, be it Zotac or not, so yeah, you're most likely gonna be fine.

Nice controller it looks like a mix between nes and playstation.
8BitDo make controllers for multi platform use, and adaptors to cross-platform with them

That crossover look is intentional on their part, i use an adaptor to let me use switch pro controllers on windows - and my xbox elite S2 controller on switch

I agree. Also, anything above £400 is a money pit. Even though, I buy lots of cheaper stuff just to satisfy my curiosity, so I spend more than that in the end for everything combined.

This is many months worth of stuff (not pictured is a bass amp). Two routers because my old TP-Link Archer C20 (the cheapest one they had!) is on its way out and so is my parents network stuff, so the Asus is for them. The mouse was because there was talks they they would be discontinued, and it was on a sale, the 8bitdo pad because I wanted a better pad and it was on sale (it didn't help though, as the main game I want to play with it - Dreamfall: The Longest Journey - doesn't recognise it). The mixer because I needed a mixer but it turned out that I didn't need it, the Zoom H1 because I wanted a decent USB microphone and that is it.

Is that a Intellimouse Pro I see there? :) I have had mine for nearly 3 years now and it hasn't let me down.
Compared to my bro who has gone through 3 Corsair mouse in that space.
Also going by the current trend, people prefer lightweight mouse and the intellimouse is not light at all but it doesn't bother me at all.

Yep. I have a few Explorer 3.0's and a bunch of Opticals as well, wanted to complete the set. I sorta need a wireless mouse though, and the Logitech G602 I got cheaply four years ago has been good.

Got an XTAR BC4 battery charger
1689394158443.png
1689394202591.png

USB-C 5v 2a charging for AA and AAA batteries, with a 5v 1a USB-A output - so it's not just a smart charger, but a battery bank too.
Main dealio is that each battery is charged seperately, and it's smart charging not dumb on a timer so they don't need to be in pairs or risk overcharging.

Pretty handy at home for charging batteries for remotes/VR headests, but also for the whole camping shizness since i have USB power from my solar setup.

I use a similar idea Panasonic product, probably costs more, but Eneloops are pretty top notch cell wise for AA/AAA NiMH cells.

I use a similar idea Panasonic product, probably costs more, but Eneloops are pretty top notch cell wise for AA/AAA NiMH cells.
I use eneloop batteries, the problem is my panasonic chargers were dumb ones that ran for 15 hours and caused two of them to leak
Using my solar setup to charge batteries amuses me - I virtually use the sun to charge reality, y'know

Dumb chargers in general are cursed technology.

The bank I use is smart at least. Micro-usb though.

Man, you're living a life full of danger !

The Iceman stuff is actually pretty well-known and well-made. They make special external pump-res combos that hang off the outside of cases like the NCASE, Meshlicious, etc. I had one on my Cerberus and Cerberus X using a DDC. I can't use it anymore because one of the ports stripped after a lot of difficult wrenching it around after build #3 I think, but that's my fault. Acrylic isn't tough as metal is.

And it was cheap!

Well.. relatively. It will be fine.. worst case I have to open it up and use a good thermal interface. But it will be in my little Torrent, so it should be ok..

I'm sure you'll be fine :) I'd only open it if you see 20C or more gap between edge temp and hotspot temp at 250W or more.

And if running framecapped like a reasonable person, it's basically a 150W-225W card anyway. 250W+ is rare to see unless balls to the wall 100% of the time.

Interesting, I'm still just using the BQ-CC17 for my Eneloops and Eneloop Pros. They came with my Eneloops so I've been using it for like, 8 or 9 years at this point.

That's one I looked at, the XTAR has USB-C and the LED is built in instead of an optional accessory

Eneloop 101 has an amazing list of the chargers, which is how i found out mine was a dumb charger

The ultimate Eneloop charger list of 2023 (the best 5 + worst) (eneloop101.com)
Its probably just as good, was just sharing my solution too. I use it to power a bluetooth modded IBM Model M kb. I may have posted the mod here before. Kinda sad result though, beefy old Model M ravages the batteries in about 5 hours.
