Im getting red and sometimes yellow ring edp other all the time

13 gen intel and a Asrock B760 mb how do i fix it

yes red or sometimes yellow all the time even at low usage, close to idle

With older intel,amd gen it was just not enough power for something

all is set to highest voltage core boost,vcore compenstion llc, stock power vcore, no undervolt

new cpu, i couldn't find any used high core cpu so i bought a new cpu, havn't played a game with the new cpu

passmark performance test say im short of rated spec 21... instead of close to 26000

surpose to be over 16000

holy crap i got it to go away by disabling turbo in throttlestop

better mb ?

Power saving enabled won't help ?

I forgot it was locked in 13th gen, uncheck speedstep from the main menu.

it still does it no matter what i do, disabling turbo or basically lowering the speed my mb can now handle the cpu, why, i don't know, either turbo is not working flawless or the mb can't handle it, wich i don't think is possible since i think the highest a crappy mb with more than enough cooling can handle is a i5 13400f before not giving max power when the cpu demands it.

Update did 120m first time edp other, second run 7680m i got PL1 but no edp other

The reason why your Cinebench R23 score is lower than expected is that your E-cores have been turned off, probably in the BIOS. Cinebench is reporting your CPU as 6 cores, 12 threads but a 13400F has 4 E-cores. So it should report 10 cores, 20 threads.

Thanks for mention that i didn't noticed it but hwinfo64 don't show any e cores so you might be right

no but i have had it set to default values,settings

Your previous CPU was a 6 core IIRC, your new CPU should show 10 cores.

in the motherboard bios there should be an option to disable ring downclocking- that will keep a constant ring clock.

im missing some performance like e cores not ebing added to the score or speed is lower then it should be
Doing single cb r 23 no core is used 100%
