differences : well ... they took my only gripe with the Recon grip ... and made it better (side grip was a bit too rubbery, trigger and face button where too textured and overall shell was a bit too shinny, which all attracted grim like flies to a sh!t
will clean the recon thoroughly before re selling it and making at least half of my spending in return, already have a buyer

biggest difference? well the phone support is nice, but as i wrote, a bit redudant to the Kishi, still nice to have it, the thumbscrew is a metal one, the rest is plastic but feel solid enough

a little heavier also (normal, integrated battery weighs a bit) but i prefer it like that, works perfectly fine and the soundcard section (which was the main argument in favor of the Recon ) is still awesome (even tho i only use it on very few occasions )
