Some updated pics of my gaming rig. Great temps with the Arctic 420 (15C idle/64 gaming/91 benching) and hopefully better temps after my 1700 Thermalright bracket gets here. New power cables (havent done the cpu cables yet). I miss my Sub zero 11900k rig, but it hasnt sold yet, so maybe Ill just keep it. ;)

She is a musician! Talented one too! Sometimes you have to let your surroundings match your moods, vibes and help set your inspirational tone.

Sneaky, you have framed motherboards on your wall. This begs the question: Are those artistic expressions or perhaps prized examples that you revere?

BTW, nice PC setup!
Thanks for the mention!! ^_^

Hi,
My really expensive gpu AIO has been working fine thinking of swapping out for the clear ocool pump/ reservoir combo yes they are easily swapable with QDC's and putting my optimus foundation on z490 as well I'm getting a little tiered of the cramped D15 :/

Plus x299 rig is in storage so not being used no room where I'm staying now for it :(

How is that pump/res, can get one used for £65?

The HULK would be proud of you though. I heard horror stories so stuck to clear fluid.

Hi,
Cheap black acetal = hard pass only good thing is the pump it's self
Newer ek stuff is better but I'd look at alphacool like the clear plexi I posted near top of the page way

Do the QC not slow flow down? is it a open tube inside once they are connected.

I will look at alphacool. Have to say good customer service Re the iffy rubber seal.

Have you got an official answer from Alphacool support already? Will they send you a new block or just a new seal?

Yes new seal, i had the beta version

This seal was neither deformed by the liquid nor by excessive heat. We only used very soft material. However, as it was also too tricky for our production department to install this, we only use this seal in the first batch of coolers.
From the second batch onwards, we use a different gasket that is somewhat harder and does not deform in this way. The new ones are white. But they don't change the performance.

Hi all!

I'm back in a PC game (and in this forum) after over 13 years of total PC hiatus! But the time has finally come and at the beginning of November I've build myself a PC!
Just mind you that the last one I build was based on an Intel Q9550 and a Radeon 5870...

The new one:
- AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- MSI MAG B650 Tomahowk WIFI
- Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB 6000MHz/CL30 RGB
- Crucial P5 Plus 1TB + Crucial P3 Plus 4TB
- Gainward GeForce RTX 4070 Ti
- Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240
- NZXT H5 Flow RGB
- Corsair RM850x

All this RGB stuff is new for me so there's a lot I need to learn now, but I'm really happy how it turned out.

And a disclaimer now - I know about the throwback for the "4070 Ti" / "4080 12GB version". I also know that SUPER refresh is coming in a new year. Yet, in my budget and my use cases, this was the most suitable config I could think of.

So far everything is working great. Initially I had my rad at the top with the two 140mm fans at front, but I decided to switch them. Officially the H5 Flow doesn't support top-mounted 140mm fans, but one can still fit them without any issues (if I had known that, I'd probably got the 280mm rad).

All that's left for now is to get some PSU cables extension (a 12PIN GPU and a 24PIN) to make it look nicer and cleaner. Other than that - I believe I'm done! :)

Thanks! That was the idea. Going with AM5 + 4070Ti for a 1440p screen should be quite futureproof. :)

Congratz on the new machine. Use it safe and sound!

I couldn't help, but notice you took notes how to take a decent pic of a PC :)

- PC at an angle + surroundings - check
- close up GPU with strange angle - check
- lights up - check
- correct exposure - check
- close up - no lights - check

Bang on presentation, man! I hope I can take pictures with quality as yours. Planning to post in the weekend in this thread and I was watching this video tutorial about it.

OMG, thanks mate! During the PC hiatus most of my engagement went into mobile tech and, mostly, mobile photography (and, later on, photography itself). :) It was my main jam for the last few years.
As for those photos - well, they are far from being really good, but for this, I need to take out my proper camera, not just the phone. :D

Once again - thanks anyway!

@PLAfiller - you kind of motivated me now. I'm quite sick, but took out my Canon and snapped a few. Once I feel better, there's much more coming. :p
