Gonna have a go at making a half decent desk amp. The reviews on the pre amp board are pretty good, not sure on the power board but it's using TDA7293 which are pretty good and i prefer these type to class D

I will do. I spend a lot of time at home (partners full time carer) so try and keep myself occupied. I have a 300mmx300mmx300mm 3d printer so am gonna try and print some parts for it.

If you like audio stuff, this guy makes some nice reviews of car amps and mini amps too, may be interesting for others too ---> https://www.youtube.com/@wal/videos
I was just getting interested in Raspberry Pi for running Octoprint, but looking at the prices locally, this ain't a $15 PC as they say. 4th gen 2GB version is like €65....I wouldn't call this an impulsive buy. 5th gen 8GB is like €130....hard pass IMO.
Look where the SMD resistor is between the 2 black chips. That tells you how much RAM is installed. In this case, it's 8GB (same as mine which also arrived yesterday).
In a complete surprise to me, there's an actual onboard power button on the left edge, AND pads for installing your own next to the USB-C power in socket if you're putting the Pi into a project case.

I picked it up at a Micro Center for msrp in Baltimore on my way through town. Seeing how the pi4's went up +150%, I figured MSRP was the closest I would get this gen. However, they didn't have any power supplies in stock, so I just look at the board and use my imagination for now.
It's really rare I can afford a brand new graphics card the last one was my Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 XT Pulse otherwise I trade, sell and buy used once but not this time.
As much as I been loving AMD's 6000/7000 series the power consumption always bothered me so I went with this Asus GeForce RTX 4070 Dual OC 12GB which is only 200W +/ under load and thanks @W1zzard for a good review on the non-oc model
I am planning to do some undervolting when I have time see if I can get it down to like 150W for 1440p gaming
I have to actually give Asus props for the packing of this Dual card because it's actually is packed really good I seen this for laptops and refurbished computeres before and it's reuseable.
Just picked up a AMD 7800x3d, ASrock x670e Taichi, DDR5 6000 Trident Z5 Neo Series and a 2TB Crucial T700 NVMe. Really impressed with the 7800x3d. From my oc'd 10700kf @ 5.2ghz all core, my low's were up huge in many games I play. The max FPS wasn't as big of an increase but still noticeable. Many games that were sitting around 130fps are now locked at 144fps.

Recently have bought new monitor - Samsung Odyssey G6 32" 2560x1440 for good price about 380 $.
After my 12 years old Benq EW2730 its like day and night. Everything clear, smooth and colorful.
Watching for OLED and MiniLED and currently they start 900$+ in my region. So too much especially for me currently for OLED , need to wait 2 more generations . I have got lit room and current typical brightness too low for me, and it can be lower then in specs because of safe dimming tech, also active fan noise could be present depend fo the model.
Already have watched CES new models , they are better , but looks like price will be also to high.
Ya not to dump on you, but I can't take LCD seriously anymore after using OLED. Even looking at your picture, the colors look washed out, and the blacks are not black.
