Need to try GT Sport as I borrowed that from my uncle. I mean, if I have a PS4, I need to have a GT title for it?

If I like it, I may buy my own copy from ebay etc

As you guys know i like to go to recycling shops. So most of my " new" parts come from there i think :D

Always wanted one, never bought one because i didn't want to pay much for it

Now found one, and paid 1,50 euro for it...

photo_2024-01-20_10-14-29.jpg

First google search showed me thats still available to buy.

So i saved 23.95 euro

That's a nice deal! The thermal pads alone are worth the 20Euro. Everything else is bonus-round!
Yeah, the dude who sold me those, gives me good deals for a bundle like that from time to time :)

HDMI to a waterhose.. :D
Ah, "gardena". Thought that it's that high-voltage 400V EU plug first (like ovens use etc), but for a waterhose? Does that fill up a watercooled rig's reservoir or does it output liquid smooth picture? :D

It does allow touching the grass whilst gaming.

Replacement buds for cycling. P20i's are better however, but they do have a 10mm driver compared to this 8mm

Well, what could I say?

-tried my uncle's MX510 back in 2004/2005, liked it, felt like it was made for my teen-hand
-bought a MX518 in 2005
-it had issues in 2006, RMA'd it, didn't got a new as its manufacturing was stopped; got refund as cash
-ff few years, bought a G400
-had problems, refunded it, got a G400s in return
-used it for 7½ years
-saw a MX518 remake for 20EUR, bought that
-got now an OG MX518 once again

I'll refurb that OG MX518 and I'll use it with my laptop. And now almost a 33yo dude, that design of MX500 (the OG mouse of that design) still feels perfect for my hand. The closer thumb button is for reloading a gun, the further is for throwing a grenade, at least in FPS games even this day. :)

edit: the almost-10yr-old G400s still works like new, its on my 2nd PC. Just its surface has seen better days but otherwise works hella fine.
Hey thanks for the reply and info, sweet stuff!
That surface tho looks sick to me, i would keep those indentations if at all possible, looks like it went through an intergalactic war, what's the story behind those???

I will never spend that much on a pair of TWS buds which are small enough to go missing or fall out of my ear and end up in a in a drain or crushed by a car/stepped on.

Battery wise. After a few years use you'll probably throw them away anyway if the manufacturer refuses to refurb them for you.

P20i's = £16
Life A1's = £26

-- Not audiophile standards or quality by any means. But i've been LOVING the P20i's, they are really really balanced and natural sounding with really good crisp highs.

With a lot of headphones. When a drummer starts smashing his rides, high hats, crashes and other cymbals. With budget or cheap headphones it can often turn into an outright mess. But with the P20i's there is no such problem. crashes, high hats have amazing clarity and separation. Like you know when the drummer is smashing different sized cymbals and other shit.

FOR NOW - I think the A1's are still overpriced even if they are already discounted from £50. They dont sound anywhere near as good as the P20i's but they are better than the Mpows which had virtually little to no high end at all. maybe they just need time to wear in and shake loose a little.

Upgraded Windows from Home to Pro on the laptop and ordered 1x16GB 3200MHz for it too.
Didn't really need the latter, but it was cheap as hell so I couldn't resist.

Congrats ! I rocked this exact model for 3-4 years. You want to switch these pads for leather asap, it’s easier to clean. Dekoni audio do some good stuff. For the case, Geekria brand or equivalent. Lot of options on Amazon. The official one from Beyerdynamic is stupid expensive for what it is.

All good there's DDR4 soldered onto the board ;)
I'd rather 2x accessible DIMM slots but it's still the same speed, dual channel etc.

For my son, he is experimenting with epoxy and needed a compressor/airpump for his small pressure vessel.
Don't know yet if it will work, but will give it a try.
If it does not work out, I still have a nice pump to inflate my bycicle tyres
