they arent overpriced here. its the same price as outside, with conversion rates applied. not much diff. here they are unlocked, not carrier bound.

if you get someplac(like dubai) where you dont need to pay taxes, then its cheaper.

credit where credit is due, you dont get the same "feel" of a flagship / iphone from any mid range phones. not even one plus or the new disco phone does.

I put one plus "feel" as samsung FE series.

Honestly if you wait a bit, old gen phones get quite cheap. i got my s22 for 600GBP ish in jan 23.

Best thing you can do for poor battery life as mentioned and bring back quick charging is disable optimize battery feature
It's a really dumb feature apple pulled out it's ass lol

1. I already owned an iPhone. That wasn't a flagship at all. Only more expensive so that everybody thinks it is an flagship. It's only apples cashcow where a lot of i*iotss wants to pay more.
2. I still own an iPad. The OS is too old to use actual apps and i don't get a newer version for that device. I also owned a MacBook Pro (17") and also a MacBook air (13").
3. I ordered a Motorola Razr 40 Ultra a few days ago. That is a flagship. But an iPhone? I was able to choose also a brand new iPhone Mini. But that would be a couple of steps back.

Apple just control every aspect of using their devices and users. They are not worth the money charged for. iPhones are more for small dic*ed people like driving a Porsche 911. For their self esteem.

Im on the same page, the only thing i will buy from apple is a cellphone, and i always wait for cheap offers. I grabbed a new iphone 12 for $250 from my line provider like around 8 months already.

Oops. Finlands VAT is 5% higher than in germany. :O It might be possible that the germans are more attracted by apple products. More attraction means a higher price one can charge. There could be a lot of reasons that those iPhone SE are 100€ cheaper in Finland. I don't like Apple nor i like Samsung phones. They limit me much to much. I',m gonna tell to the phone what i want to do and it has to do. I don't want a company behind me telling me what i am allowed to or not. Thats also with german cars and their limit to a max speed of 250km/h. I decide but let any company decide for me. That's a personal philosophy/attitude also named freedom.

eh ... turning to an arcade nostalgic ... not that i mind (also the stickless pad is quite good for hack'n slash ... and oldies ... fun, i find it more agreeable than a Xbox gamepad for oldies ... using bind left/down/right/up to D-Pad instead of Analog stick L/R )

also as a bonus, most fighting game (and the oldies on GoG above) play really well on the Ally

and DB:FighterZ is also my homage to Akira Toriyama ... till Sand Land is out

i fell in when i was little :laugh:

well, SF6 is fine, i like it, aside the soundtrack ... to me a fighting game OST should be like KoF or even better like Guilty Gear, DB:FighterZ is frantic and fun the tag system is awesome ...
for the oldies managed to DL them via Galaxy on the Ally and then when i got home they finally installed on the main rig ...

the stickless pad is a game changer, i get huge nostalgia pang ... hilariously one cybercafé i frequented a lot with friends, early 2000s, had a SFII arcade cabinet and from what i recall ... it might have been the first stickless because at the time, someone broke the P1 stick, and the tech geek who owned the cyberzone (which was the name of the cybercafé) at the time, went a bit ape and moded the P1 by adding 4 more Sanwa switches wired in place of the stick, so P1 was all buttons and P2 classic stick + buttons
tho at the time, i am sure he did not expect his "idea" to gain popularity nor did he think it would be something worth mentioning :laugh:

just ordered another Ally carry case ...

a bit more space for the accessories (i bet i can fit the FightingBox in the uper compartment ) than the one i already have
fun part, on the total price ... buying the previous one plus that one is still cheaper (36chf

) than buying the official Asus carry case :laugh:

no space for anything else than the Ally it seems, bleh...
