Nice watch, the blue lume looks really cool :)

It does, it glows bright all night too. Accurate to +/- 15 sec a month too which is apparently pretty good.

Yep, for low light diving that really is a plus, cool :)

I really like it. It is steel with the plastic guard on it, not sure about the rubber strap though, might have to get some sort of steel strap or something else, don't want to spoil the look though.

New Psu for the future GPU (Taichi 7900xtx or 4080 S Proart ). Psu on sale, price for Px-1000 about 272 Euro and a compartment for a new disk, the price was good about 32 Euro. I'm going with a Verbatim Vi7000 2TB SSD for about 130 E for a new one pocket
Suweet setup! What vertical gpu mount is that? And was/is it easy to install?

Nice!

I wanted a Hellhound for myself (my price point was for a 7900XT), as the teal lighting would fit right into my rig, but I got a nice'ish deal for a Pulse 7900XTX.
Not that I complain about having the 7900XTX

I had to unmount my old phone a few days ago. I used a kind of duct tape to protect the screen. Also i used a heatgun to make the glue that holds the screen much softer. I didn't need the suction cap but four of that thin blue triangles to put it in between the screen and the case. ;) In germany we would say that this was a work for somebody who killed his grandma..

I have a heat gun, nervous of ruining the original unmarked screen. Good tools can't hurt

A simple ife can be a good tool. But it also cuts your skin and hurts. Good workers know how a tool can hurt to avoid that. ;)

since i bought my Hellhound Spectral White RX 7900 XTX ... Hellhound is now my favorite model from Powercolor :D (and i love the fact that it's not RGB but indeed teal/off/white for mine ;) )

nice GRE @Steve-007UK :)

aaaayyyeeee delivery! (and fudge up from DPD who send me a mail about delivery but nooooo, still at the regional warehouse  and, for the second notification, probably first lost package from Temu since the post tracking mention "custom clearance completed" but no other update since 03.04  oh well if not received in 15 days, Temu offer the option of refund or resend, 30 days : full refund, no biggies it was not a big order )
You got my curiosity, but now you have my attention. :D
well damn that one is really well made and it's pure ingenuity

20240413_123453.jpg
will install it later but it use an USB2.0 header for power and a passthru for powerbtn header on the mobo

the stickers are not sticker o_O it's in relief? well it look and feel bloody awesome

so, basically they took a genuine la38/203/209b 220/240v waterproof (it's IP40 alone and IP65 in that type of box) emergency shutdown switch and wired it to a ziptied PCB with RF and an actuall button that also do the same as the big red button
(oooohhhh big red button!!!) and you can see the red light thru the casing.

the battery under the heatshrink is replaceable ;)

ok the amp was worth the 8chf paid  and even more, L/H gain switch, plenty power in Low gain red LED for added flair ... no opAMP chip but work as intended
20240413_214325.jpg20240413_215319.jpg
the only deception : the battery pack is 600mAh and not 1000mAh as advertised, tho i could swap it later

Redragon blue clicky, lovely and for 10chf a pack of 100 even if they have QC issues ... i won't mind, nonetheless they work just fine (they will not replace the Kailh Box Black ... these are too perfect :D )
also : locally bought 120 pack GPCGR Gateron Red : keychron sell them in 110 pack for 68-97chf and Ducky also 110 pack for 45chf ~

@Fokker LOL my 8pin adapter come from the same brand as your M2x4 PCIeX adapter :D

received my hdmi switch in the morning, hooked it up just now. As my monitor only 1 hdmi port and vga quality is not the best (as we obviously know), this was my best resort. It came at a good price of Rs.340 (4$) including shipping.

32GB will cost about £30-35 but im seeing if 16GB will do the business first.

Starting off with the path of cheapest least resistance first. An 8GB for 2x8.

32GB will cost about £30-35 but im seeing if 16GB will do the business first.
Hats off to you...I still haven't mastered that skill :)...like I barely started drawing at 2D/3D CAD on my RX5700XT and I am already looking at basic quadro cards....like for real....as if I really need one...overestimating my needs has been running rampart for years :D

The disease that I have is that I like to have a load of tabs open in chrome.... :rockout:

I can probably organise some of that stuff into bookmarks but Im lazy. Plus at least 2x8 will give me more bandwidth for the Intel 620 to breath so i can run some old games a little better.

This one is not for mine, but my brother… a TUF 4070TiSuperSuperTi non-OC to upgrade from a 3070Ti which was unwittingly VRAM limited (on R6S + Bluestack, Bluestack will crash out very frequently on 3070Ti. Not on 4070TiSuper)
The TUF model here is priced surprisingly competitively (~USD$900 equiv ), barely above lower models like Ventus, hence the choice. OC model costs USD$50 more, so that’s a no go.
(4080 leftover is about USD$1100 here.)

Alongside is the latest MSI MPG 27” 1440p 360Hz QDOLED.
QDOLED let’s goooooo

Now he can do 360fps consistently on R6S with some help from DLSS. (He thinks DLSS Quality is better here, and I suck at shooters, he does shooters competitively, so who am I to judge)

Tried a few other games, and noticed on GT7 (with HDR) there are places that brightness/saturation drops significantly.
Maybe he needs a high brightness setting to start with ( on general usage the brightness is set to 80 ) and , well, the limiter is kinda low here.
I will see how his experience on OLED goes as I wait out for a 27” 4K high-refresh OLED product.
