Benchmark Scores bench...mark? i do leave mark on bench sometime, to remember which one is the most comfortable. :o
now, we're talking

okay ...
1. a 397chf proprietary/non customizable Razer Kitsune Chun Li edition ?
oooooorrrrrr
2. a 33chf RP2040 based (open hardware/source, GP2040-CE ) custom stickless controller ?

answer is YES! oh, wait ... no, answer is Nr.2 .... it's always Nr.2 ... (specially when Nr.1 is something by Razer ;) at least for me ;) )

bundle : ohhhh a real user manual? woot!
20240404_163829.jpg
eh? now i have 2 ciy keycap puller/switch extractor? nice bonus  these are my favorites type.

12 Cherry MX Silver (10 of them cost 12chf so 14.40chf just for the switches) 5 layer acrylic with various cutout, also it has some nice weight to it and do not feel cheap in the slighest and yeah indeed a custom PCB with an integrated RP2040 (Raspberry Pi Pico) although you'd need to disassemble the bottom to reach the reset button, the bootsel button is in the open (left of the USB-C on the second pic)
20240404_163844.jpg20240404_163921.jpg20240404_163933.jpg

removing the 6 screws reveal the same logo and the "Chun Li edition" on that one is customizable, you have the template, you can put whatever you want later :D
the buttoncap are quite great ... and i could even swap them for normal keycap in HID-KB mode.
20240404_203044.jpg20240404_203129.jpg

one of the thinner acrylic sheet serve as switch mounting... interesting, more interesting? the EVA/PE/Poron? (seems EVA actually seems more Poron, EVA is more form retaining, but not sure) pads which act as silencers (interesting because i ordered 100 similar Poron pad for my Thock 75% and the 8key )
20240404_203222.jpg20240404_203248.jpg

it support Switch/DInput/XInput/PS3-4/HID-KB/GP2040/ compatible obviously Switch, PS3/4, PC, Android 10+ and MiSter
full RGB with multiple modes (thanks for color coding buttons, also north facing leds :D ) and configuration is done via browser since it has a built-in local web server.
perfectly usable with Steam in big picture and nowwww ...

i guess i know why i bought, some time ago, KoF XIV Galaxy Ed. on GoG .... time to try that one !

end word ... Daaaang, for the price i did not expect it to be that good.

edit ... if i print a new art for it ... i'd make it a "Sylvie Paula Paula edition" (yeah Sylvie hater can zip it! she's in KoF XV, deal with it  )

price checked some component ... aside the 14.40chf worth of Cherry MX Silver, a RP2-B2 is 0.70chf so, half the price i paid is covered by that, the Oled Screen bought locally is about 9chf total 24.10chf mean around ~10chf is left for the custom PCB, hotswap sockets minor SMD, USB-C plug, reset and BOOTSEL buttons, USB-C cable and Keycap puller/Switch extractor combo, impressive, very impressive indeed :D

After finding out that Vizio has cut me a check for a full refund on a defective 43" 4K M-series I decided to spend it on this:
G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series (Intel XMP 3.0) DDR5 RAM 96GB (2x48GB) 6400MT/s CL32-39-39-102 1.35V Desktop Computer Memory UDIMM - Matte White (F5-6400J3239F48GX2-TZ5RW) at Amazon.com
Now my 14700K rig will be fully maxed out to play with 4K video upscaling of all my old movies and TV shows (my new hobby). I need something constructive to keep me occupied between trips to the doctors.

I also bought another new Vizio M43Q6M-K04 4K TV last week off Amazon to replace the defective one that died two days before the factory warranty expired. Vizio kept sending me refurbed B-stock replacement units with stuck pixels and I refused to accept them. I sent the last one back unopened. After that they caved and made the offer for a full purchase price refund. Amazon had the TV on special sale for $298, $65 less than I paid for the first one. Best Buy had the same price but no local store had any in stock. If I had more room in the workstation it's in I would have gotten a more expensive 50" 4K but one won't fit.

 sorry i had to ...

i had it, battery dies really fast. Got both SE (1st and 2nd gen) if it wasnt for the battery life i still be using it. Hope it works for you till you get what you want.
well literally all iPhones have horrible battery life ... a colleague has to charge is 14 midday while my S23 still has 75-80% most of the time (same usage scenario)

i also had to ... order some extra, still within "budget friendly" parameter
so, the aforementioned Poron pads and some Orings to go with
1712270232501.png1712270172921.png

that one gonna be fun
1712270690041.png
yep, it's an EVA01 themed wireless power button ...

also ordered 2 of these in 8pin (white not black ofc)
so i will be able to route the power cables above the card and fit the EVA02 HerculX
1712270759283.png

and that for the walkman ... since my Fiio Q11 do not have a Line in, impedance range : 16-150 Ohm (~9chf i can't complain, it's a bargain )
1712270868036.png1712270884559.png

and as i mentioned here
good to know, well for about double the price i can also find some Akko, Gateron or Kailh, although for the price, i could just get one pack and test them
well, given the price... i took a 100pack of Reddragon blue (clicky) for fun and test purpose
1712271379875.png
i should start a Switch collection ... i have 120 Gateron Red, main keeb use Kailh Box Black, 10 Yusya red and 12 Cherry MX Silver now
i also want some Gateron Beer (no obvious reason other than the name and the box art  ), Azur Dragon V3, Leobog GrayWood V4 and Domikey Astronaut ... tbf
maybe some Geonwork Raptor MX Extreme (or HAL effect one ... although i have zero compatible hardware  )

next month will be : break, since i have my holidays at the end of it (19.05 :D ) but that should keep me busy for April

I was just going to ask why you got a Wifi Card until I saw you have the X570-F. A well laid out board with no WIFI.

what can i say ... i listened the hell out of Korpiklaani Ievan Polka, as much in English as in Finnish

"helvetin hyvää tavaraa tulee minulle kuitenkin myöhemmin"

i love how "damn" is "helvetin" and "Swiss" are "Helvet" (minus the "E" otherwise we would be hellish ;) )

talking about Finnish and latest tech purchase ... i bought that 16gb USB key from a kids from a familly i know well (and they are from Jyväskylä as they told me ;) ) well, "bought" is a strong word ... he had no money but wanted a smoothie (9chf) but (his) äiti did not want me to gift him one  so he gave me that and i paid for the smoothie :)

buuuuuuut, instal fail : failed to connect to GoG servers ... muuuuuh ... oh well i might rely on less "legal" backup website then ... should be legal to me tho ... i bought them legally without DRMs ... should not matter if i DL them like that ;)
Should be able to download the offline installers directly from GOG. I did that with Wolfenstein: TNO.

With GOG, if anything you can try do download the DRM-less installer from their website

I bought a compass today. Always wanted one my whole life, my sense of direction it pretty terrible, so it's been rather amusing figuring out which way is north and south. lmao

only 5 bucks :)

Should get a decent lensatic compass for ~$20 and practice land nav with a map. No tech like the low tech.

After experiencing problems when trying to order an original Akku for my Nokia 6 i just bought a full functional Nokia 6 for € 39,99 incl. transportation. So two smartphones and a cover is inbound right now. All that sh*t about smartphones did cost me 830 € by now.

with that seconf and running Nokia 6 i can exchange either my old mainboard (inkl. RAM) into the new one or the Akku of the new one into my old one. More possibilities to get it running. If both will not work for me i can go to a RepairCafe opening 4 times a year to let them try. To be honest. I don't even see if the connectors are sitting well or not.

Never will you be so lost as navigating with a wavering compass reading.

I agree there are lower cost compass that actually work outside of usually detectable circumstances.

lol i cant keep up with him either. I love gadgets and half of the stuff he posts up i have no idea what it is... always requires a little added effort on my part to look into the unknown.

GreiverBlade, you need to start throwing in some sort of easy-to-follow intro for some us nooby-toobs

The RTX 2060m has arrived, and a week early to boot. I have downloaded the latest Frankendrivers.

According to the box (which is generic to all JieShuo cards) it has: High Frequency, Durable Material, PCB Conformal Paint coating, Sleek PCB Design, Quiet Fan, Thick Material, High Temperature, and Solid Performance.

As soon as the SSD I ordered gets here, the testing will begin. I am looking at the TechPowerUP RTX 2060 review and seeing what I have.

I am trying to decide what games & applications to use to test with it. Unlike most review sites, I am not buying a bunch of new $70 games to test a $157USD card. Someone buying this card isn't buying $70 video games. Everything I am testing with is either on sale right now (really cheap) or I bought it when it was really cheap. My steam library is vast, but relatively inexpensive.

I am not dumb enough to pay $70 for a video game - unless it is Diablo.

This is what I have assembled so far: Assassin's Creed Valhalla; COD: Warzone; Dead Space; Diablo: ( $ ), Diablo IV; Doom Eternal; Evil West; Far Cry 5; Hitman III; Horizon Zero Dawn; Metro Exodus; Resident Evil 4; Shadow off the Tomb Raider; The Witcher 3; Watch Dogs Legion; Wolcen.

No Starfield; if reviewers stopped using it for a benchmark, I suspect the player count would drop to triple digits.

As far as applications, Blender; Stable Diffusion; Poser; and Daz Studio.

I'll be testing at 1080p & 1440p - testing at 4k with this card is stupid and serves no purpose. Speaking of stupid and serving no purpose, I won't be overclocking either. I'll look at raytracing, but I wouldn't expect much from it.

I'll also be running comparisons to my SOYO RTX 2060 Super ($167), RX 5700XT ($137), my 16gb Kinology RX580 ($112), and RTX 3060 12gb.

If you've ever seen the benchmark batch I did when I bought my 5700X3D, you'd see that even those with $1100+ cards (local pricing) won't necessarily buy new $70 games. Hence my forum signature.

Benchmark Scores bench...mark? i do leave mark on bench sometime, to remember which one is the most comfortable. :o
oh well ... it was probably expected ...
and no i will not get any SF6 pass ... seriously? 50+chf for a season pass? nice scam Capcom ... luckily i got my SF6 base for 20ish chf ... i do not condone having to pay 180chf~ for a game and season pass.
(the 3 new are sandwiched between Rogue Trader and Palworld updates ;) )

eh ... turning to an arcade nostalgic ... not that i mind (also the stickless pad is quite good for hack'n slash ... and oldies ... fun, i find it more agreeable than a Xbox gamepad for oldies ... using bind left/down/right/up to D-Pad instead of Analog stick L/R )

also as a bonus, most fighting game (and the oldies on GoG above) play really well on the Ally :D

and DB:FighterZ is also my homage to Akira Toriyama ... till Sand Land is out

thats a lot of money for a 4 year old phone
I bought two Smartphones within a few days. A braynd new Motorola Razr 40 Ultra for 749€ and an old used Nokia 6 for 40€. The nokia 6 is assigned to be a repairbase for my own. There i can exchange the Battery or the mainboard to extrakt my data to put it onto the new Motorola.

The Nokia is 7 years old and costs 40€. The motorola is brand new but costs 750€. The iPhone SE (4 yrs old, 150€) don't seem too cheapt or expensive to me.
