Nice scores.....So yeah ECC is working but really depend of the motherboard some manufactures allowed some did not on my Asus X299 Gaming E Reg. ECC is working but only on older bios(up to the 1004) they turned off on later bios vers. ....My 7940X is also slightly OC and undervolted my cores goes from 4,1Ghz to 4,5Ghz I OC individually to keep them cooler as I am also on AIR and using some silly Xigmatek Cooler at least I mount 2 fans on it so it does the job and keeps temps out of red........

That was the nice thing about X99, the 2011-3 socket took i7’s and Xeon processors. As well udimms and ECC rdimms. Still have my ASUS X99 system with 96GB ECC memory and a 14core e5-2680v4 con processor. A real workhorse.

HI!!

From what I see the 5800Mhz Overclock is only running up to 5700mhz and it throttled on ya. The Atom e-cores did as well.

I would try and tune at 5700mhz P-cores, but closer to 1.40v or less to try and prevent the throttling. Maybe run the p-cores at 4.4ghz as those throttled to 4.3ghz.

Also, might be helpful to enable the XMP profile, it looks like running 2400mhz CL40 left on auto. Use the OC tuner at the top of the bios page and select XMP 1 for default XMP. XMP II loads the entire XMP profile from memory. XMP Tweaked is Asus's profile which will have a few minor sub timings tweaked.

I replaced my old cheap Xigmatek air cooler with Bequiet used but better cooler which gives me space for more tweaking and OC so now my 7940X goes from 4,1Ghz-4,6Ghz and scores in CB23 is overall better for around 600points then before
