Nice scores.....So yeah ECC is working but really depend of the motherboard some manufactures allowed some did not on my Asus X299 Gaming E Reg. ECC is working but only on older bios(up to the 1004) they turned off on later bios vers. ....My 7940X is also slightly OC and undervolted my cores goes from 4,1Ghz to 4,5Ghz I OC individually to keep them cooler as I am also on AIR and using some silly Xigmatek Cooler at least I mount 2 fans on it so it does the job and keeps temps out of red........Had no idea that Intel Xseries cpu could be paired with Registered ECC memory.
Hard to believe that my 4 year old i9-10980xe achieves as good a score or better than a stock Ryzen R9 5950x.
I’m mildly overclocked to 4.4Ghz all cores.
3 cores got a little toasty, but I was only using 1 fan on my Noctua NH D15s. Any overclocking above 4.4 I add the second fan. Keeps temps below 100C.View attachment 345535
