I'm still trying to get back to DC in The Division 2, but have to kill the final boss, Keener, in Warlord Of New York DLC. Not so easy, but fun.

Keener is pretty easy once you know the patterns and don't bring any SHD tech that can be turned against you. The only time I get in trouble is when I've run it with people who don't know what they're doing, since they'll usually drop hacked tech right on top of you.

Started The Chronicles or Riddick Assault on Dark Athena. Escape From Butcher Bay was excellent, it definitely fit with other 2004 great game IMO. I can't capture screenshot without the overlay though

Keener will have to wait because I had to go out at a crucial moment, so will have to start that mission yet again, sigh...
Meanwhile, Lara takes the long route just to find another oversized key in The Deck (TRII) and quickly running out of space in her undersized backpack which is now full of massive keys.

Both of the Call of the Wild games got interesting new updates today and one got a stellar DLC map. Both of the COTW games attempted to melt and overload my GPU today almost forcing me to impulse buy a system from whatever hands could be laid on within a few hours.

Screenshot shows every graphics options Off or at the lowest setting but one. Well worth a year of development to accomplish a jump this large.

Some retro gaming on retro PC. I tried to capture using camera but capturing CRT means part of the monitor is black usually during CRT refreshes, nobody wanted to see that

Half Life 2 still looks great 20 years later, this is 2004 version. Doing Route Kanal again is so much FUN! Love the story, the voice acting, the script, its great. What great is almost zero bug on day 1 release, something hard to see nowadays. Just plays beautifully. If only Valve make Half Life 3 but I don't believe such thing will ever exist... truth be told I wanted to try bhopping but I suck at it :D

Another game from 2004, FarCry also looks amazing. And how I 'miss' the janky AI
FarCry.jpg

I also played Halo CE. I only play the demo back in the day, this is the first time I played the campaign.

Excellent game, excellent atmosphere and music... a tough one though for sure, the AI can be very unforgiving especially Kaz.

Speaking of memorable fighting game music...

My go to list...

All native PC ports, all updated and modified for today's hardware etc.

I had to make some custom thumbnails, such as RE2 / 3

It (he) does look good but more importantly; is he a good boy?

The other dog (Bloodhound) was a much earlier development and has less refined behaviors [Read: $#%#$ dog, but impeccable tracker]. The Labrador not only adds an element of fun to the game but is a nearly perfect companion. A very good boy.

Well that is some mighty impressive grass I gotta say.

Maybe not spectacularly ultra-realistic like some AA games. I was comparing it to the rest of this game.

Spoiler is mostly a mix of medium and high settings on a DLC from only a few years previous. Dev was maintaining a bi-annual map release to a core user base that were passive enjoyers of the spirited gameplay with a low key Swedish vibe. I think some critique at how dull this (spoiler) map was outside the action was a turning point. Honestly, great honest dev who took the right initiative when faced with suggestions to poo out some income earing cosmetic DLC to stay afloat take as much time as they needed on any further additions.

Somehow Wii ended up having a number of flying games that work really well with the typically not very good controllers. Even the one licensed from that kingdom of the mouse. Prime Ubi era developing here.

Just bought The Division 2 ultimate edition for $15 on steam. Seems like it'll be something that'll eat up some time.

Still one of the best Games of it's type. Once you get good enough you will look for Strongholds to conquer and the Missions are just hard enough to not be frustrating when you have died for the 3rd time. Especially late Game missions. It is fine as a single player but shines as a multi player co-op.

I also played Halo CE. I only play the demo back in the day, this is the first time I played the campaign.

Apart from halo, i also have original Farcry( I actually have them ALL ) And i love Half Life 2 to bits and still play it from time to time. There are also some really great full mods for it too. I loved Escape from butcher bay too.

The current party for my new game run of SMT V Vengeance on Canon of creation.
I have gone for a strength build again like my original playthrough on the switch.

Nezha design looked very inspired by Astro boy, but of course its cool to see other chinese deity in games.

It (he) does look good but more importantly; is he a good boy?
I'm pretty sure the answer to that is always: No.

He is the BESTEST boy.

Hardcore mode was always my favorite way to play since you have to play a bit more conservatively with the one and done nature of getting downed. Legendary strongholds are really fun in the normal game.
