I've finished Jedi Survivor twice. Went back to the game to beat the main bosses at the highest difficulty with no damage. Now, I'm on Fallen order for the first time.
I'm proud of this play.

I bought this on release and played it co-op with my older bro + cousin, it definitely met all expectations.Finished Streets of Rage 4 (on Switch)
I had a lot of hesitation before buying the game ... would it plays like the olders one ? As fun ?
And ... yes, the dev's made a good job replicating the old gameplay.
Basically is the same old SOR formula with better design.
Enjoyed my time, finished with Axel, and reding it with Adam, sometimes the new one and sometimes the SOR 1 character.
The game is not that hard (in normal mode) because how it plays : when you start a level, you have 2 lives to begin with (can gain more with scoring), and when you finished it even with no lives rest, the next level starts again with 2 lives. It's a clever idea !
Of course there is the Arcade mode, with 1 credit.
The only negative side (call me grumpy old school gamer) is the graphic, even super nice, I miss the old pixels ...
And the music, it's not as good as the olders ones, on my second time I'm playing only with the old school music (a great idea : a mix of Game Gear and Megadrive/Gensisi tunes).
It's a solid game very fun, even better on sale !

This image was a dream in 1991 ... And it's now a reality !

If you've played the originals game back then, you'll find some old well known faces
View attachment 352447
Of course, play it with friends and double the fun !

Even the Survivor bosses were in the wrong order. Did you notice that my first no damage upload was the final boss fight? LOL.you played them in wrong order mate, lol
I suppose it doesn't matter though, although the ninth sister's vitriol might have been a little lost on you, the enmity with her begins in the first game, but its not like its a deep storyline so meh you didn't miss anything really by doing it this way
I am loving Jedi Survivor, haven't played tonight though as I am unwell, i have until the 30th to beat it... that's when game pass expires... and I don't want to drop ten bucks to renew cause Dawntrail comes out then
I did buy Zee's experience bonus perk first thing though, that was a smart move, as I am leveling up fast thanks to that

It was Streets of Rage Remake !I bought this on release and played it co-op with my older bro + cousin, it definitely met all expectations.
What was also cool prior to this release, a few years back some dedicated fans made a modded Street of rage game which had chars from SoR 1-3, custom actions/animations and their own unique story as well. Forgot what the mod/fan-made game was called..

My main issue with Jedi survivor in comparison to fallen order is they bloated it out with more unnecessary exploration + side quest/fetch stuff which were just tedious.you played them in wrong order mate, lol

I've been playing Dave the Diver lately.
I think I might get that one. It looks like a side scrolling platformer with pixel art and a horror theme. is it short? Is it very difficult? I could use something short and casual right now. The last few games I played took up a lot of time each so something shorter would be nice (my backlog is getting sad I'm ignoring it).Finished

Sincerely i hoped it was good, and i've been really overwhelmed. The SteamDeck (OLED) tiny screen is well adapted for that game.
Oh, that's right. It should be about that time, huh? It always sneaks up on me every year.Steam Summer Sale starts in 3 days I believe...

So I'm commited to finishing Disco Elysium, and I sorta get why people find dice games annoying (such as D&D, like what this is based on). It's weird how often I success on rolls with a 17% chance and how often 80% rolls fails.

No need to scream, we're right hereI'm about to beat Jedi Survivor and I was like you know what, let me plug in my old DS4 controller just for the heck of it to finish this game since its my fav all time controller, I was using my new hall effect stick controller before.
WHEN YOU CHANGE LIGHTSABER COLOR IN GAME YOUR DS4 WILL GLOW THAT COLOR AND CHANGES IN REAL TIME WHEN YOU CHANGE THE LIGHTSABER IN YOUR WORK BENCH
THE FUCKING DETAILS IN THIS GAME!!!!!! 10/10 consistently surprised by how many little details this game has. yep. this is my goty. i just fucking love the puzzles, the combat, the attn to detail, the graphics, runs great, etc
For the record this game is much better than everyone says it is.
No seriously it is. It's genuinely the best game I've ever played, and more than that it's a great piece of art. It's an exercise in what games can be when it comes to storytelling. Sure games like Super Mario Bros, Diablo 2 or Crimsonland are better games (meaning mechanics) but this? I cannot believe it hasn't had a greater impact on game design and writing. BG3 gets a lot of love these days, but that game is a pile of manure in comparision.
And the music! And the art!
No need to scream, we're right here

I'm gonna check it out. This went totally under my radar so far.It is so much better than that. They gave the same award to Skyrim, and that's like putting "Fourth Best Welsh ass-fail Youtube Video of the Year" on the same list as The Godfather part 2.
