Just make sure you use a rubber/silicon insert. While PETG is easier than glass it deforms rather quickly.
Yup, I have a silicone insert. Just soak that in soapy water so it's easy to put inside a tube.

cool, will most likely do hybrid loop, with some parts PEG in outer corners of case, and soft tubing to connect blocks.

@SchumannFrequency
probably mores so because the stock settings are usually a bid on the warmer/more vivid side, and i assume will not match some calibrated dslr, most likely using a different
image format/color profile all together, and depending on screen can look different (pre-processing) just because of those things, outside of res/sensor size etc.
with around 20-30MP you get decent cropping options, if you dont have enough optical zoom, or reducing res to get better low light pics.

but yeah, most of the sonys with the iAuto mode, tend to take better pics (mom), than some of the stuff i do with phone that has proper lens and 3 axis OIS.

I use a HP IPS monitor on OpenBSD and it achieves close to 100% sRGB values. My sister mainly uses a MacBook Pro which normally has a well calibrated screen.
Both screens should produce very similar colors.

I can also see the color difference in the printed photos, not just on the screen.
Now that I think about it more deeply, I realize that it could probably be her Lightroom preset that oversaturates the photos (or sometimes rather sepia-like).

I once installed darktable, RawTherapee and digiKam on her MacBook Pro.
But on my sister's MacBook Pro, RawTherapee was quite unstable and would sometimes suddenly close for no reason.

I've used RawTherapee for years on Linux, FreeBSD and OpenBSD and the app hasn't crashed once.
So my impression is that open-source software may have fewer bugs on Linux/BSD than on proprietary systems.

But back in the day (and maybe still is), RawTherapee was more powerful than Lightroom. It also had more accurate algorithms for several basic tasks.

The colors of the Sony DSC-H55 are very good. These are the automatic colors you get when you use intelligent mode.

With manual mode I can get more accurate colors on this camera, but then I also have to put more effort into creating optimal lighting conditions.

What a lovely kitty. :)

The photo I uploaded to imgur of this cat was 4.8 MB and I see that imgur is lowering the quality to a 3.2 MB file.
I also see when zooming in on the photo that it has less detail.
But you can still see that the Sony DSC-H55 can take sharp photos with nice colors under ISO 80.

One of the comments on the Sony DSC-H55 is that it would not be good for night photos. But this almost never applies to how I use this camera.
If I am not satisfied with the quality of a night photo, I stabilize the camera.
And then I always achieve ISO 80 and I have better night photos than what >95% of people achieve with new smartphones in the >1300 EUR segment.

I re-uploaded the images to ImgBB which stores and displays the images in original quality. I edited the previous post.

Doing a memtest on my HP Z400.

Its behaving strange, freezes in Debian. Wanted to check the RAM first. There were also some strange white blocks like snow(flashing) over 1 of the screens last weekend when i was playing YT. So it could also be the Videocard. Nvidia Quadro K4000. And gave a NV...... Bla bla warning and rebooted.

I'll give it a couple of passes, and if no errors, the Videocard is the next suspicious.

Of course I could just play music from my PC when I play PS2 for example, but playing cds from a cd player is way more nostalgic.

And sometimes nice to be offline for a while

Probably nvidia proprietary driver ( you use the proprietary driver?) and Linux Mesa 3D Graphics Library incompatibility issues. For Linux it is the best AMD Card.
You can also try using Ubuntu or POP! OS with the Nvidia driver automatically recommend...

To be honest, i dont know which driver is installed. It always worked well, also on Fedora and ZorinOS.

The first pass on memtest was without errors. The second had an error. But i dont think thats the issue. Freezes in Debian are randomly. On the desktop copying stuff, browsing, YouTube.

When Youtube is playing, the music is going on and plays the whole track and then stops, screen freezes, no Mouse movement anymore.

Not counting disscussable aesthetics, it looking like Afro American in Las Vegas wearing this kind of helmet with pipes providing drink Americans wear during watching their kind of football (to some extremists of political correctness: it's not racist or whatever bad. It in fact looks like that...), you are this guy who bought himself three fans being one piece. Two times. And these look like ones from NZXT, so 80$ each, probably also closed within their own bloatware. Then one goes bad, you need to replace it with another three. It's like being some scam victim. Two times...

Seems not far from this guy above, but completely opposite and what I like - definitely function over form (and disco) build looking clean and just yours, far from generic, looking the same pcs people build nowadays - good job :] When it's still work not finished like uplugged cables.

A bit picky are we? Certainly function over form here, no doubt, This will be all black, with no LEDs on purpose :) And yeah, some cables haven't been needed yet, but all are plugged in and in their places now. No need to get ahead of myself only to find something doesnt function correctly.

Picky, laughing from bad things like not caring one lol and simply paying attention to details ;) Like e.g this Pure Wings fan on your photo - it just shouldn't be like that. Or at least I would turn it it 90 degrees right, to make it's cable going out bottom left corner. And then stealthy drive it outside next to HD Audio to comeback thru hole closest to some bottom fan header. Maybe even put this cable between PCIe covers to bring this cleanliness to the level world have never seen before :p About leds, imo in your not going crazy case they fit well, nicely corresponding with case's stripe, but it's of course subjective.

I having a bit of a time understanding part of what you are trying to say here. Either way, it sounds like a negative criticism. Criticism is welcome of course, but it all depends on delivery. As for the Pure Wings fan, its cooling the gpu vrms and vram. I dont see a problem with that. Feel free to post your rig here. ;)

As freeagent already mentioned, here we are not competing, just sharing.

@#22 , happy to see I'm not the only one with an open case (expensive) dust collector ;) :).

Functionallity over form, pure aestetics or a combination thereof is solely up to taste of the user and I always try to respect that (eventough I don't like some things I see, or are soo easy to make it look better ).
I get your attempt to give constructive criticism, but be aware with soo many nationalities here with different native languages and cultural backgrounds the chance of misinterpretation (positive or negative) is always lurking around the corner.
So it is wise to choose your words carefully, at best unambiguously interpretable. Especially when sharing opinions (which are mostly individual) as they can lead to heated discussions with no winners at all, just some fun for thrill seekers/trolls.
Yeah, you'll amuse some of the 'good' guys also to a certain extend...:p

For example what you advised @jallenlabs to rotate the fan for a cleaner look regarding the cable (I do agree on that one), is in a way the same for you if I look at both your Noctua fans ;). But if it don't bothers you, who am I to comment on that :D.

Like you I don't like the disco stuff also, but I changed from a completely black build with external lighting to fans, reservoirs and waterblocks with aRGB leds. I'm on a quest to find a setting where it gives added value to the aestetics (to my own taste) or in the end if I can't manage to do so I'll just switch them off.
If somebody else thinks otherwise of my system and choices, be my guest it won't offend me, but constructive criticism is always welcome whether I take it to heart or not:lovetpu:.
I won't let things escalate if I don't agree, as that does not make any sense and serves no purpose.

Benchmark Scores Who cares
Well mine has not changed much since i went back to air. Keep meaning to give it a clean but still not got around to it. Still chugging along fine without a single problem, 3mths and that will be 3 years with not a single bsod, no lie, stable as granite cliffs. Still using the 3D printed bottom connector cover too.

Benchmark Scores It's a form of exhibitionism...;-), but fun in a way But showing off is triggering.............
Dont we all with a dusty pc reason it one way or another, just because cleaning it is not our favourite way of spending time with it?
My excuse: I just love the dust and patina, it gives my system character  :kookoo:. As long as it has no impact on it's functioning........... oh well:twitch:.

But I hear you, with me it's the same; just never get around to it. Always something else pops up which seems to be a good reason to prospone it and I convice myself waaay to easy :shadedshu:.

I know, I should be ashamed, just don't ask me to post a picture of it's current state ;).

The warranty on my 1300 G2 was just about to run out so I finally decided swap out the noisy fan for a silent one, blew out all the hair/fur balls while I was at it also.
Used one of the Fractal R2 140mm case fans since I wasn't using it currently, matches the rest of the system as a bonus. Since this fan has 11 blades vs the stock's 7 blades it actually blows roughly the same amount of air at idle even though it's much quieter.

Dropped idle noise from ~46dB to ~30dB on top of the system (~25dB at my chair), now the hard drive is the loudest part of the system.

I also repurposed my old Thermalright XP-120 and "adapted" it to AM4. Turns out a stock s478 bracket wedges perfectly between the AM4 mounting screws, sit's flat against the pcb and is even the correct height. :D Performs reasonably for a P4/K8 heatsink, able to maintain max PBO clocks while looping R24 with the fan ~1400RPM.
