That camera is probably old enough to have served in Vietnam. If it didnt serve, then it probably got to see a lot of it.

Decent panel for the money however the unit I got had not the best uniformity, luckily the local dimming (which is actually usable here) fixes this. Might just send it back for another unit tho.

Benchmark Scores bench...mark? i do leave mark on bench sometime, to remember which one is the most comfortable. :o
grmblll ... firmware update ... fudged up ...

oh well, i will use that one instead then ... (contacted TB customer service ... )

20240826_190001.jpg20240826_190029.jpg
20240826_190534.jpg20240826_190624.jpg

tho... not sure, if i can restore the Stealth Ultra ofc, if i will change back ... well, i miss the microswitch feel and the Hall effect sticks, but the Elite Series 2 has some neat features, like : the adjustable stick, swappable sticks and D-Pad, the paddles (heck magnetic also??? and just actuating some small buttons?) feel a bit easier to use than the 4 switches under the Stealth Ultra, the textured rubber grip feel a tad better and the 3 stages trigger course reduction is also better than 2 stages depending on the game i play...

i hate when a firmware upgrade brick something ...

edit: c'mon guys don't be sad ... after a night of test on First Descendant ... i happen to quite like the Elite Series 2, dues to the heavier weight, paddles and longer battery life (thanks to BT LE and the cheapo BT 5.4 dongle i bought recently ) tho for sure not having HALL effect stick and microswitch for face buttons, D-Pad and RB/LB is a downside ;)

I just question where Bender Grey filament and hobby sized finishing/burnishing tools are left in all of this?

ELEGOO any good? the amazon reviews are nice, currently have a local brand, but its super inconsistent with the temp performance and is stringier than spaghetti.

If even this doesnt work out, ill just buy the creality stuff that came with the printer.

5800X3D's became not worth the extra. And that's when you're actually able to still find them, around here they're not available anymore.

Nice, there is not much difference anyway.
Yeah after looking at many benchmarks it is why i made the choise to get the AMD 5700x3D :)

This PC is now pretty much how i wanted it to be and for my needs and gaming style it should last me a good couple of years still.

I may be one of the first in these forums which got a 5700X3D (Feb 3rd). Decided for it after seeing the earliest YT reviews pop up comparing rather favorably against my former 5600X and the higher 5800X3D, especially for its price.
Apart from it being finicky with PBO (I could be the unluckiest silicon lottery participant ever), it carries my 7900XTX effortlessly. Pair it with some good ole 3600 CL14/16 and you're set.

They are pretty good even with 3200 14-14-14 dual rank with tuned timings as well.

Honestly? I forgot to order Bender grey.. ..yeah, I ..yeah. <sigh gif>

As for tools I still have most of them when I had an extensive plastic model kits from Revell and Tamiya etc.
Also in the Creality box came some tools, like ...lube... and stuff.

I bought cables very similar for my studio monitors. Ended up swapping them out for beefier, shielded ones shorlty after though.

Won´t be using it anymore once I got this one:

Just some minor upgrades in the form of 32GB of 3200MHz RAM (vs my previous 16GB of 2400MHz RAM), and an M.2 SSD with ~5,000MB/s read/write speeds (vs my previous SATA SSD with ~500MB/s read/write speeds). Actually, saying that out loud, my upgrades sound way bigger than I initially thought they were.

Both were supposed to arrive today, but Best Buy sucks, so they've been delayed to tomorrow. I can wait, though.

BTW, I didn't get even faster RAM because my mobo doesn't support speeds above 3200MHz at stock with Zen 3 - at least, as far as I know. ASRock's website led me to believe speeds above that are only supported with XMP, anyways. Weird since I've heard most B550 mobos support up to 3600MHz stock RAM.
