Reeks of a possible DDoS. I saw a lot of slowness today and minutes of the dreaded HTTP error code 502!

I also saw other glitches that were not at TPU!

"¡Mucha pérdida de paquetes!" as the Spanish speakers would likely say!

I'm seeing this as well. It's normal snappy, followed by chug, and then goes back to being snappy. For example, loading this very page to report. It chugged while loading, but then once it started loading it was near instant.

Not sure if that description helps but it seems like a caching problem might be at play. Only a guess.

Yeah, it will for possibly minutes, be slow like 56K or slower!

Maybe like 64K or 128K ISDN? o_O Or early-DSL!

Been slow for me since that major hiccup, lot of the time it can be "normal" though more often than not it is slow and sluggish, waiting seconds after clicking a link before it loads :rolleyes:

Much like using 56K in 2024! I don't remember bull like this, even during the first major solar storm of early-May, 2024! So I can't even say that this is solar-storm-related.

The sever at my work was horribly sluggish at times and just fine others - kind of like when connecting to TPU over the past week or so. The server was only a couple years old so it shouldn't have been giving issues. HP (who my workplace got the server through) couldn't figure out the issue. They swapped out HDDs, RAM, did their diagnostic test, our IT guy replaced the switch, checked all network cables and so on, but still nothing resolved the problem. They replaced the server about 10 months ago and ever since things have been great.

Aside from rambling about nothing related, hopefully you can figure things out - be it software or maybe even hardware related.
