yep, had like 3 so far exactly like this. not to mention the other indie games i loved but haven't played in awhile. I am going to binge play Slay the Spire a couple weeks before Slay the Spire 2 comes out.

Anyway Dwarf Fortress is -20% on Steam. Haven't played in a long time, trying to get back into it, we'll see how I handle non-asci graphics. DF is like the book of games, meaning when you learn the game it's so much more detailed because the letters become a symbol of the thing, rather than the thing itself. I tried the Steam version early on and I was put-off by the fact that there where only like six different cat sprites. A "c" means it's a cat, any individual cat, whereas six different cat sprites means there are six different cats in this game. It's like when you read a book describing a street-scene with lots of people on the street, and in your mind the scene is just a street full of people, but in a game that is very hard to do because it's a depiction of the scene and not a description of the scene. DF in asci mode is like the book version.

I have not purchased it as I have most of them but there is a nice Warhammer 40K sale on right now on Humble. For $30 Canadian you get Daemon Hunters: An expanded Xcom clone. Battle Sector: A DOTA2 clone. Realms of Ruin: A RPG like COH and Martyr. A Action RPG that has great weapons mechanics and story. There is also DLC and a shooter that I have never played.

Brotato's Abyssal Terrors DLC is out.

If you've sunk some hours into Brotato and enjoyed it/unlocked everything - prepare to sink in more hours than you've already totalled since the DLC adds several new classes to the originals and then doubles the total number of classes with a new Arena which are seperate unlocks all over again with the new mechanics of the new arena.

As far as I'm concerned, it's the best game on Steam Deck by a country mile.

nice to see some high scores again, it's been awhile, I think Dragon Age will be a lot of fun personally, but then again, I am one of only like 15 people on the planet that enjoyed Dragon Age 2, so don't go by what I say

Asteroids and Cavern of Mars are the best looking ones to me. I am pretty sure I saw Enduro racer in the trailer. I am stuck on Grendizer so this is going to feed my retro this weekend coming. Sprites actually look really good on LED monitors too. Bezerk is just as insane (but not as hard) as the Arcade. I had to play that right away. Plays better than Wizard of Wor from all the way back in the day.

There is a conspiracy theory that Bioware only sent review copies to their most supportive reviewers and in very limited numbers, I am a fan of the whole franchise as I enjoyed all of the 3 previously, just in different ways but of the many takes I have got on this next offering the main one for me is that it will more likely be a stand alone game, there is very little to link it to the previous 3 games (apart from a few characters), in fact just 3 questions we have to answer on the start of a new game to summarise the choices we made in the whole 3 previous games.

PC Gamer gave it 79, the other couple I have seen are higher scored.
