Modified driver for X-Fi Titanium series sound cards XFTI_PCDRV_L11_2_40_0019

I was bored and I decided to test the noise levels with RMAA using these drivers and these were the results:

You need to install Creative THX console for X-fi. Once installed, it is accessible via Creative Console launcher when you click on the speaker icon near the 2.1/4.1/5.1/Headphones dropdown. There you can set the position of the speakers and increase volume individually for each speaker.

it only lets me decrease the level, not increase.

All driver packages have been re-uploaded. Packages no longer require file extraction. The installer runs directly from the "Driver" folder. Important components of the installer and software have been updated, including DDL\DTS.

The package with driver 2.17.0008C was also updated. Fixed a bug that caused the PC to freeze when switching to 44.1 kHz in Audio Creation Mode.

i am a new person in your site but i also have a

CREATIVE SOUND BLASTER X-FI TITANIUM FATAL1TY PRO​

and i am running windows 10...... my drivers version is 6.0.240.26 from windows by Creative......the sound is not bad but its not.......clear !!!i want all the beautiful things that i have in windows 7 .....if i install a version of yours site ps. 2.17.0008c MOD i would have the programs and the sound that i have in windows 7?i want to play Tidal and Guitar Hero(phase shift) in stereo .....i have 2 sony speakers Sony ss-x90ed and a Cambridge azur 840a.....is this the solution from a hi fidelity sound for my card?
PS.please excuse my english.....thanks for your answer .....and i am happy that i found you !!!

Hi! These drivers (2.17.0008c MOD) are among the best I have tried, even including the drivers for Windows XP, the sound is quiet and clean... you won't have better than this at the moment and includes the entire Creative Software Suite updated for recents versions of windows :

one think i have to say for all these........THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH !!!! all the programs work like a charm.....i have more than before......only one question i have......in control panel i see again the drivers 6.0.240.26, i must see the drivers 2.17.0008c? i make the custom upgrade........i have to do and the quick?

You must disable automatic driver updates from Windows Update and reinstall the driver. Read the "Readme" file carefully.
If you are not going to play old games with OpenAL\EAX support, you can install the driver package version 2.40.0019.

i am already very happy and grateful with all these today ......i already hear much much better my music.....i have control panel......and i think that music is much warm and clear.....i made the update off but windows refuse to change my drivers......i unistall the old one with your program but windows driver is there all the time .....how can i unistall this version and put the new one? but i am satisfied already ........

Hi, the script that ANTES533 post is to change a key in regedit and is used to deactivate the driver update that Windows performs when it finds an older driver on the PCs... Follow these steps:

1. Run the script "Auto Update Drivers ON OFF". In my case I do not do this since I do not use Windows updates, I have them permanently disabled with the program "WindowsUpdateBlocker".

2. The second step is to uninstall the entire Creative suite from the control panel, this should also uninstall the driver and restart in safe mode. This can be done in several ways, I will put 2 methods:

A) Hold shift key and restart the PC from start menu. or B) Go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Advanced Startup and click the Restart button.
When the computer turns on again it will show you the advanced startup options. Click Troubleshoot, then Advanced Options, and finally Startup Settings and select Enable Safe Mode (with the numeric keypad).

3. Once in Safe Mode, run the program Display Driver Unistaller (Audio > Soundblaster) to completely remove the driver and (additionally) manually delete any remaining Creative folders (C:ProgramFIles(x86), ProgramData & C:\Users\PCNAME\AppData\Roaming) and hold shift key and restart the PC. Follow the same steps as to enter safe mode but now you will select to Disable driver signature enforcement.

4. Finally install the modified driver with all the applicactions you want and restart the PC. If everything went well, you should have the driver installed without Windows having replaced it, otherwise you have a problem with Step 1.

And as ANTES533 told you before, if you are not interested in playing older games that use EAX/EFX or OpenAL hardware acceleration, simply use the modified v2_40_0019 drivers.

1. Disable driver updates from Windows Update.
2. Remove the old driver.
3. Clean up the remaining driver, for example using Driver fussion.

4. Install a new driver.
