I will test what voltage requireExtra PCI Express device may require more voltage for the Northbridge and/or QPI.
As I said! Disable as much as possibe of the integrated peripherals. And set to ICH SATA to AHCI.

Normaly I stopped modding BIOS. But this GA-EX58A-UD7 (Rev2) awakes my interest - Sorry - this will be my last try to help.
It's a bit strange that latest BIOS FD is 2MB (with nasty EXTBIOS.BIN at the end) and FC only 1MB - But anyway...
This is made out of 100% stock BIOS FC and FD without any former modding of other modules!
I added ONLY your WD Blue SN570 NVMe SSD (15B7-501A) - To all others: This is ONLY a Test for bigbenn15.
Try to flash via Q-Flash. Chrecksum should be OK.
I would start with FC BIOS... Be sure that BackupBios is fine if anything went wrong.
Remove any drive and NVMe
Flash BIOS via Q-Flash
Load optimized Defaults
Reboot to BIOS
Set all the stuff I mentioned on the pictures of my other post. Save settings and shut off PC.
Add NVMe and enter BIOS and see if we have luck

Very Good !!!!Yes working now its ok. For people have This board. You need to use Windows 7 for @ bios and use FD original, Windows 11 dont work. I should immediately point out that the NVMe SSD BIOS_MOD Files are Updated as "pure Bios Files" without the Need for Additional Hardware and Software such as DUET, Clover and REFIND.
No Additional Hardware or Software is required.
All you need to do is to update the motherboard bios again and insert your purchased or have nvme ssd drive and install the operating system as "BOOTABLE" bootable.

The BIOS MOD Files published here do not contain the Universal Module.
Because each X58 model motherboard needs to be added one by one NVMe_Module.

All BIOS MOD Files Published Here is a great work that I have created with my own great effort/patience and dedication.
My own special software has been used in bios file modification processes.
What others have said for "AWARD" bios modding;
"Sensitive modules cannot be changed"
The claim has been refuted with real evidence in this study, asserting the opposite thesis.
In short, AWARD bios or any different bios file can be modded and changed.
Each bios file has been handled one by one, and the bios files with successful results are marked.
The Module I used to support NVMe SSD drives in Bios Files was given as FALSE when it was released.
The NVMe SSD module was corrected by me and successful results were obtained.
Bios files that have not received "TEST OK" confirmation will be updated according to data from users.

been watching this thread for a while now.
Got an Samsung fully working on a Rampage II gene. But the same disk fails on a Rampage III extreme.
In windows the disk is recognized but when installing windows the disk can’t be used as a boot disk. Also the disk is not recognized in the bios settings
Found another Rampage III extreme user in this thread for the Kingston disk uses several different controllers.
Any help from Rampage III extreme users??

I would follow this procedure to get FD working.
Flash original 2MB FD BIOS via @ BIOS program
Reboot to BIOS and Load optimized Defaults - Reboot and enter BIOS right away again.
Flash then modded X58AUD7A.FD - now with Q-Flash - which now should now work without incorrect size!
And again all the integrated peripherals deactivation stuff mentioned before. (This is only to eleminate all possible reasons why NVMe may not showing up)
What a hassle after hollidays...Came back from 10 days break hollidays. ran into a problem. weak cmos battery, cmos reset due to 10 days off plug.
default bios settings include the sata3 on, and it freezes the boot, of course (so unplug nvme, disable sata, replug nvme. the pc case is very heavy, lot of fun after driving 600km)
Edit 2 : there are missing contacts on the x5675...........
If someone can point me to a direction (forum / topic) so i can learn how to change the default states of the bios settings, to be clear, disable sata3 by default to avoid this kind of surprise.

The samsung evo 970 is listed for his x58 mb. Just scroll all the way down where you see you your mb bios listed and you will see the samsung evo 970 listed. IF, it doesnt work return the evo.....no harm no foul. It will work.similar is not good enough. bios size, different modules included by the manufacturer leaving less free space. dont think this way.
use the tool to see what modules are in the bios for your specific motherboard (mmtool, cbm forgot the name, 4am here, you ll forgive me)
the IDs can be checked on websites that compile all manufacturers / models of device
then you re sure, and you can buy.
i guess the sam 980 will be in it as it s a bestseller, it would seem logical that Ismail included it by default in all bioses
but i red a couple days ago someone had downloaded a bios and made a bit by bit check, and the bios was not modded. Ismail can make mistakes, he modded a ton of bioses, mistakes happen
so, check with the good tools and be _sure_ before you buy the nvme, money has a cost those days.
worse case scenario, make the mod yourself, the method is a couple posts up, it s not very hard to do, just need to be methodic and check everystep to avoid making a bricking bios.
