are these temperature readings ok while gaming?

You can, although I would only recommend undervolting anything if you really know what you're doing.
I saw 2 videos on it. Have no clue but it seemed fairly eimple and harmless according to the utuber. It actually is not?

It is harmless if you know what you're doing. I'm not an expert on it, so I'd wait for others to reply and guide you through it if you're sure about it.

A thorough cleaning of your GPU is a must, though, so let's see if that helps first. ;)

Hmmmm but i cant open it unless its out of warranty. People in this thread only suggested the msi afterburner. Ill watch some more videos on it.

Room temp i have no idea but if i have to make a guess it would be 26-28
I would get a thermometer to see what your room temps are. If you are starting with an ambient temp of 26C to 28C, and by the time you are done and check the PC temps, your room might be at 30+C by that point. So, your temps will be higher than others since your ambient base temp is on average 5C higher than everyone else's.

All you need to do, is pull the card and use a can of compressed air and blow it out. Just make sure that you hold the fans, so they don't spin, as it can damage them if they spin too fast.

I see. Thank you so much for the idea. Ill do that. Ive already cleaned them with a brush but in any case this air can thing is nice.

guys ive tried the msi afterburner curve editor and it does reduce temp by changing somethings regarding voltage and frequency of the GPU.
by the time the cooler master 212 arrives, i was trying to find out how to decrease CPU temp. some guy suggests changing the minimum processor state settings.
mine is set at 5%, what is this "minimum processor state" . the max processor state is at 100%. setting both of them to 99% is dropping the temps based on the numerous comments on the video.
can anyone share some knowledge about this?
here is the link

The minimum processor state will do nothing with your temperatures. What you can do is disable Turbo Boost in your motherboard's BIOS, although personally, I would just wait for the 212 to arrive. 80 °C isn't the end of the world.

alright, ill disable the turbo boost for now, thank you.

Do you live in the middle of a desert by any chance?

Part of is problem could be this, and maybe a few extra fans pulling heat our would help too.

oh shit, i think i will clean the cabinet right away, i dnt have the air pump for doing this. by the way this is the gpu

The cooler master has just arrived a few minutes ago im gona try to install it. By the way i dont want the rgb light so guess i wont be connecting its power wire to the motherboard. The temps of cpu & gpu are already in the 70-75 range now after using the msi afterburner software.

The temps are way under control . Thanks to you guys. You guys always save lives. Thank you. God bless

I'm curious how much temperature your CPU and GPU get with the new cooler ? And have you clean your gpu with a compressed air can ? It should be enough to drop the temp down, undervolting is a step after the cleaning if temperature are still a problem. I didn't participate to help you but it's always nice to see someone happy with his PC

I posted the last message impatiently was just so happy to inform everyone abt the temps. Very sorry that when i checked it i didnt post the new readings here immediately. Right now im at workplace. After reaching home i will boot the game and post the temperatures.

Today evening. Cudnt play anything today.

namastey friends,
just ended our gaming session
here are the temperatures
cpu temps.gif

i mistakenly mounted the coolermaster without removing the plastic sticker thats on its touch surface earlier lol. removed it later on when i remembered that omg i havent done it correctly. as u can see the temps are way lower on the cpu. THANKS

Very nice! Enjoy! :)

Really nice cpu temps, nothing wrong now. The GPU is still a bit hot but nothing really alarming, maybe changing the fan curve can drop it down a few degree without being too noisy. I always do my fan curve because they usually set it so you don't ear your gpu but it runs hot even on small game.

You're no longer thermally throttled. Nice!

I wouldn't even bother with that. 77 °C isn't cold, but I've seen a lot worse on a 2060.

I was more worried about the hotspot temps but yeah the gpu temps are alright.

Changing the fan curve? How can we do that?

If you live where I think you do, yeah there's a lot of dust & it's usually much warmer. I'm not sure what its like in the mountainous regions there as there are several of them, but I would imagine there's quite a bit of dust in the higher elevations, too. A decent air purifier that removes dust & smaller particles could be a big help if you have your system in a separate room.

Good to see that you got your system straightened out. I would now set a date from a year from now to clean your system since you live in a hot dusty area.

Haven't seen a cooler with a 92mm fan since 2006. How are they still making those?
The Hyper 212 is also old (more like... classic), but it's much better than the lame stock HSF Intel packs with their chips nowadays. You should've seen them at their best.. socket T, 1366 and 1151 coolers were great, solid copper core surrounded by a decent amount of aluminum fins and a beast fan, you could tell quality by the weight of it, I still have a few of them. Now they look made out of recycled beer cans.

I second the BeQuiet cooler. Noctua is highly overpriced and overrated in the computing world, I wouldn't go that route.

Cryorig M9 at 92mm performed really well, within spitting distance of 120s IME. As far as the 212 family, many (but not all!) newer models are better, but usually not by a whole lot.

Yeah, there is a "Fan" tab in option that let you change the curve of the fan speed for a set temperature. It's not a necessary thing, it's just if you want to tune your gpu cooling a bit.

Thank u very much for the help, im cleaning the cabinet right now. After this will check the temps. And yes surely i will repaste the cpu if the temps are still high. There was a ton of dust inside. Ive been at it since my last msg. And yes will enter he specs in my profile as well after the cleaning is done. Will post the pics as well. Lets see what happens. Thanks very much to you all.
Just so you know in the photo you attached, the rear fan is intaking air instead of exhausting. After cleaning I would try flipping that. It may help a little bit.
