I'd love to see FSR done on an RX 6800 XT (for example) as I'd like to see PQ and performance uplift with AMD cards, instead of just doing FSR on RTX cards.

FSR auto gave me like 70-90 FPS at 3440x1440 with mostly high settings and recommended things turned down.

Also gave FSR ultra quality a try with my framerate limited to 60, and my system will maintain that framerate all day.

What res? I found my 1080 couldnt handle 1440p even at low settings, at launch

well after 5 mins off download and install I had a little play and ran the New Benchmark now included in the game I set FSR to Ultra Quality and pressed bench and here's the results

@arni-gx that's a pretty poor showing for an 10900 and a 3080 it probably doesn't help running it off of an HDD instead of an NVMe SSD or even a SATA SSD

it might help to turn shiz like Chromatic Aberration and Motion Blur off as they're both major fps sucks for little to no visual difference

also do you use DLSS if not then turn it on

I was disappointed by the initial launch. With 1.5 it looks like things might have improved. But for now, Total War Warhammer III just launched. I will be busy for the next couple of months. Maybe by that time Cyberpunk 2.0 rolls out :roll:

Lazy as shit coding that's what. They're not updating (synchronizing) database items, they're updating chunks of game and feed it to you. Even if they change one line in a chunk, you get the whole thing.

If a project is well managed for continued development, you don't do it like this, usually. You do it like organizing a database and maintaining it, so you can check on it and read it as well. Kinda echoes the road of this game IMHO. But in the case of GoG it may also be related to the way they compile their installers, as they also need complete packages to deploy offline.

Their installers are split into 4GB chunks.

But I've used Inno Setup (which is what their installers are based on) before and it handles that separation when compiling. So you don't actually know what is inside each chunk.

Did you try FSR ? If it works on the 980Ti. If it dose not, try to see if you can lower the render resolution to 75-85% and use image sharpening from the drivers. I played about 10 hours like that when the game released on my 1070Ti with Medium settings. Also 40 fps for this type of game is fine. Especially if you avoid combat most of the time.
