I got this score with Fire Strike v1.1 http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/12610676?

Is it as expected or do you think it's a bit low?

Nah. Look at the graphics score, it's reasonably close to my Titan X and that thing is insanely overclocked. Yours with a high OC level would probably take the lead off mine there.

Your CPU is almost certainly all that's holding the numbers down, which as we all know, doesn't really make that big of a difference in gaming.

Wait and take 1080Ti and after another one

Wanted to try msi fan control supplied on disc which came with the card...

Download a new one (Afterburner) from Guru 3-D. The latest beta has support for 1070 and 1080. You should have fan control then, as well as setting up a fan profile.

Yes tomorrow :)))

For 1-2 years i will not invest anymore in PC,everything u buy today in few month comes new stuff..

Now i m relaxing on beach and enjoy summer, feels so good <3

I have a small glitch with MSI Gaming app and windows powerplan, sometimes windows powerplan won't let me set the high performance powerplan, it turns right back to balanced.
When I close the MSI Gaming app and reopen I can change the windows powerplan back to high performance.:ohwell:

For now I use the MSI Gaming app to turn off twin frozr which let the fans spin at 900rpm, good temperatures sofar:)

I don't use the Gaming app. Just set your clock speeds with Afterburner, which won't mess with your power plan. The Gaming App I find...glitchy. :p

Good to hear!

Any game out yet that recommends using a GTX1070 or GTX1080? :D

I just picked up an Evga GTX 1080 Founders Ed. :D EK block is coming soon.

What did you use before? Didn't think you'd need to upgrade.

I haven't seen any. Normally hardware leads the way, and games follow. I reckon we will be well into the new card lifecycle before we start seeing a lot of games recommending higher level Maxwells. More than likely middle-grade.

That's why i am not in a rush to buy the 1080, waiting for Titanfall 2, in Europe will be available on October.

I changed my vote to other, AMD has something coming soon enough that beats the GTX1080, Asustek made 4Gb and low clocks.
To me that indicates HBM2 and low power consumption.

Suprisingly the prices of some AIB cards went up in my country!
I ordered one on day 1 and got the best price.:D

 My CPU doesn't want to play

I've voted other, both nVidia offerings too pricey for me.

I may get RX 480 just to toy with and sell on later, I won't replace my Fury X with it as got it too cheap.

I wouldn't worry about it, there's a lot of that on Firestrike with the new 1070's and 1080's, but they still get good scores.
You should see how much a 2500K affects score.

voted other, im waiting for Vega and HBM2

hahaha I got that same badge. I guess my 6600K @ 4.6GHz isn't good enough for my GTX 1080!

What CPU "ready to rumble" would we need then? :p
