HyperSLI (Enabling SLI on non-sli motherboards)

Ok, hope you get things sorted.

Ok, hope you get things sorted.

Thank you.

So I just ran all the commands from the install script directly through CMD and I didnt receive any errors. It even said it successfully signed nvlddmkm.sys, I copied the file over to system32\drivers and overwrote the existing file. After rebooting, I dont have an nvidia CP and gpu-z thinks im using the 358.50 drivers again. The file description of the file in C:\windows\system32\drivers says its the nvidia 355.98 version. Before I take my cards out would you be able to send me a copy of the nvlddmkm.sys youre using?

OK, I finally got it working.

Thank you so much for all of your help, I definitely needed it and im just glad I can play GTA V now :P

What I did to get it working was:
Run displaydriveruninstaller from safe mode and completely remove all drivers listed
Reboot back into safe mode and verify that it doesnt show any nvidia or ATI drivers
I went into windows, and installed the official 358.50 drivers from here: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/geforce-358-50-whql-driver-download.html
I rebooted and ran install.cmd again, but this time I used DifferentSLIauto version 1.31 from here: https://github.com/EmberVulpix/DifferentSLIAuto/releases
I downloaded the 358.50 modded driver from here: http://www.gamefront.com/files/25263535/nvlddmkm-35850-win7-8-81-64bit.rar

After doing all that, install.cmd showed no errors, and on reboot I had an nvidia CP and I could enable SLI.

Thanks again for all your help, this was definitely a strange problem.

Glad you got everything going, I think you've got the current record for the most problems getting the patched driver installed and running!

Haha, not sure whether I should be ashamed or honored, but at least I get 60FPS in GTA V now :P

Glad to see everything is running good! Hopefully it won't be like this for future driver installs.

You didn't specify what operating system your running, here's 2 alternate download links for 358.50:

358.50 windows 7 8 & 81 64bit:

http://turbobit.net/1sox922f3qd1.html

-----------

358.50 windows 10 64bit:

Be sure to read the installation instructions found on this forum.

I just checked these links and they worked fine, and so did the gamefront links, not sure why they aren't working for you...

I'm trying to get two GTX 660 to SLI on my GIGABYTE GA-Z77M-D3H, but all the links to HyperSLI seem to be broken, and despite my best efforts, I've failed to find any mirrors. The Modded Drivers link is also giving me a 404. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

To Petrucio:

Hypersli is no longer used, the latest drivers it supported were 335.23, use differentsliauto now, see instructions below:

1. Go to http://www.geforce.com/drivers and download the latest drivers (358.50) for your version of windows.
2. Go here: http://www.gamefront.com/files/25263535/nvlddmkm-35850-win7-8-81-64bit.rar
and download the patched driver (assuming windows 7 64-bit here). Alt download: http://turbobit.net/1sox922f3qd1.html
3. Go here: https://github.com/EmberVulpix/DifferentSLIAuto/releases and download the 1.3 version of this package.
4. If you don't already have winrar installed, go here: http://www.rarlabs.com/download.htm and download the version of winrar for your system that is current and run the installer.
5. Unpack differentsliauto 1.3 to a folder of your choice (c:\diffsli13 for example).
6. Unpack the patched driver into the same folder you unpacked differentsliauto 1.3.
7. Run the official video driver installer you downloaded from nvidias' site and let it install the official drivers.
8. Once the official drivers are installed and the installer has finished, go back to where you unpacked differentsliauto 1.3 and you also have the patched nvlddmkm.sys.
9. Open a administrator level command prompt (hold down left-shift & right-click anywhere in the window (don't have any files high-lighted) and select 'open command window here'.
10. Run the 'Install.cmd' file, it should say 'success!' in green text at the bottom of the window if there were no errors.
11. Reboot your computer.
12. Go to your nvidia control panel and activate sli.

Here's the current download links, if the gamefront links don't work, try the turbobit alternate links:

Here's the download link for 358.50 patched driver for windows 7, 8, 8.1 64bit:

And for windows 10 64 bit:

Be sure and read the readme file if you have install issues, (mainly for windows 8.1).

Ah, Yes, AWESOME! Thanks!

A few posts on the last pages of this thread alluded to this short guide, and I tried to find it, but I guess I missed it. There should really be a sticky new thread with this since the info on the first pages are no longer valid. Thanks again!

Glad everything is working for you!

I wish these instructions were stickied somewhere on here, I have to keep re-posting them.

I can't read german very well, but I think you need to go to "windows\system32\drivers" and rename the file "nvlddmkm.sys" to "nvlddmkm.old" and run the Install.cmd again.

Thanks to JBAILEY 8 instructions!
I've finally finished to SLI 2 GTX 550ti on ASUS P5Q PRO (Crossfire) board......................So GREAT............

Glad everything is working!

I just checked both of these links and they both worked perfectly, what error are you getting? I'd rather not start sending files to peoples' email addresses, do you have a download location in mind?
