HyperSLI (Enabling SLI on non-sli motherboards)

Hello !

i found this Forum and this thread because i have a problem
i want to upgrade my pc and want to use my fx 6350 and my GTX 960 my plan is it to use sli
and buy a second GTX 960 (yes i know that there will be problems in some games) but the problem is that my motherboard is only crossfire
ready , is his ´´thing´´ here still updated and ready to use ? and if so how ´can i install it.

sry i dont have the time to read 122 sites in this thread :/

Here's the installation instructions for differentsliauto:

1. Go to http://www.geforce.com/drivers and download the latest drivers (359.06) for your version of windows.
2. Go here: http://www.gamefront.com/files/25369515/nvlddmkm35906-vista-win7,8,81,64bit.rar
(This link assumes windows 7, 8, or 8.1 and this is 64 bit only, if you need the windows 10 version, see download links below).
3. Go here: https://github.com/EmberVulpix/DifferentSLIAuto/releases and download the 1.3 version of this package.
4. If you don't already have winrar installed, go here: http://www.rarlabs.com/download.htm and download the version of winrar for your system that is current and run the installer.
5. Unpack differentsliauto 1.3 to a folder of your choice (c:\diffsli13 for example).
6. Unpack the patched driver into the same folder you unpacked differentsliauto 1.3.
7. Run the official video driver installer you downloaded from nvidias' site and let it install the official drivers.
8. Once the official drivers are installed and the installer has finished, go back to where you unpacked differentsliauto 1.3 and you also have the patched nvlddmkm.sys.
9. Open a administrator level command prompt (hold down left-shift & right-click anywhere in the window (don't have any files high-lighted) and select 'open command window here'.
10. Run the 'Install.cmd' file, it should say 'success!' in green text at the bottom of the window if there were no errors.
11. Reboot your computer.
12. Go to your nvidia control panel and activate sli.

If after following these instructions you still can't get sli mode running, check the dev numbers on your video boards, if they don't match, you'll need to download this utility:

sli : 2x 960 gtx msi gaming

nvidia control panel sli was activated,but into the all of sli games,fullscreen always flashing ,windows mode is fine.
361.43 on win10 64bit ,gtx 660 x2,why? poor english...

Sorry to bother you today jbailey8, but I got another Nvidia GPU for X-Mas w/out realizing my board is Crossfire, so I found this utility, followed instructions to the letter and now the computer starts in "Test Mode Build 7601" and I cant open Nvidia Control Panel and GeForce Experience acts like there's no driver installed. What can I do?

It wasnt windows 10, it turns out my mom needed a new GPU so she gets a new 4GB ASUS STRIX 960. Merry X-Mas. This process just seemed super risky and I wasn't willing to take it on, thanks anyway. Merry Christmas.

Hi All.

Just wanted to know if I could get SLI going on the following setup (the mobo only supports Corssfire officially)-

Gaigabyte GA-Z87-D3HP motherboard (Crossfire supported)
Two GTX 660 3GB cards
Windows 10.

If yes, should I just follow Jbailey8's post above? (Post number 3053)?

I have Windows 7 and a P45 Mainboard...
First time i install the Driver all works fine...but i must install it second time and now Windows don't run nvlddmkm.sys
Windows say the file don't have signing!

Can you help me please !

Turn off uac, and run the install procedure again, make sure there are no errors being reported in the text output of the install.cmd.

I have deactivated UAC..and have installed again....but still the same problem...
In the install.cmd text output i seen one error
"SignTool Error: Multiple certificates were found that meet all the given criteria..."

Hello, i Run the 'Install.cmd' file, it say 'success!' in green text at the bottom of the window but i don't have SLI on nvidia control panel, please help me.

The install.cmd isn't very good at error control, it can say success, but still have a problem, look at the output and see if there were any signing errors, if not manually copy over the patched diver and reboot.

Thanks, i manually copy over the patched driver but no sli in nvidia control panel. Could you tell me where can i download last HyperSLI
