Manually copy the patched nvlddmkm.sys to "c:\windows\system32\drivers" and reboot.

Thanks for replay Okay tried that but get the message still i havet closed all programs disabled norton and uac rebooted try copypaste Manually but get it still.

You need to rename the current nvlddmkm.sys that's already in c:\drivers\system32\drivers to something like "nvlddmkm.old" then try the manual copy again.

Okay i tried that and i manage to copy. When i reboot now i only get a black screen with a cursor and the loading circle flashing. Windows wont start it seems it happends right after bios screen.
Edit
Okay i swapped the graphics cards placement. And the PC started again. I still dont see the SLI Config in the NVIDIA Control panel. And when i looked at the nlddmkm.sys it changed back to the old one some how. Shal i try to redo the procedure or what do you suggest? :)

Try the procedure again since you swapped your cards, make sure you run the install.cmd before the manual rename and copy.

Hi,
Are the links from post #3053 correct? From GameFront I can't download version for Win7 64bit and on Turbobit are files nvlddmkm36143win1064bit which I suppose are for Win 10 64bit ?

Some people are having issues with the download links, they are probably being blocked by their isp, let me know what version driver you need (windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10) the driver version itself will be for the latest nvidia driver
and only for 64 bit.

Hey,
Okay now i have tried it again the file were copied over no problem and pc rebooted normal but now the Nvidia Controll panel wont open and when i enter Nvidia experience it doesnt find any drivers.

To Myratir:

Make sure you've installed the official drivers first, and your not mixing up driver versions, I know the driver itself is good, here's the current download link:

http://www.gamefront.com/files/25401790/nvlddmkm36143w

This is for windows 10, 361.43, turn off uac, make sure you've ran the install.cmd (even if it doesn't succeed), manually rename the old driver already in the folder "c:\windows\system32\drivers" to something
like "nvlddmkm.old" then manually copy over the patched driver, go back and look at the date of the copied driver, it should be "12/21/2015", if it isn't the copy didn't take.

Okay i dont manage to get the date right. The "12/21/2015" patch i have inside the same folder as Install.cmd turns to 29.12.2015 after i run install.cmd so when i copy it it gets 29.12.2015- Does the file have to be in the same folder as the Install.cmd?
Nevermind
I copy the 29.12.15 file rebooted. And now it works:toast: thanks so much for the help happy New year

Glad everything is working! Windows 10 has tighter driver security then older versions of windows, that's why it's more of a pain.

Go back through the text output of the install.cmd and post any errors here.
It works, thank you very much.
How have you make nvlddmkm.sys? when the new nvidia driver released, if you don't give me nvlddmkm.sys i will don't have sli any more.

When nvidia releases a new driver, it will be patched and download links will be posted here.

I've finally got SLI to activate, but when I try to run, GTA 5, MGS5, BF4, Arma 3 or anything that would actually stress the cards, they lock up freeze and then my computer restarts. Any clue on what may be the problem? I've swapped power supplies to test and taken away my overclock but no dice.

Running
8320 @ 4.6ghz
x2 GTX 560 ti
6gb of ram
Windows 10
850 Corsair modular psu

If you've tested each card by itself (or just deactivate sli mode temporarily) to see if the freezes continue or not, be sure your sli bridge is seated properly, make sure you haven't mixed up driver versions, and turn off uac, there's also a
chance 1 of your boards is going bad.

Since the link won't work for me, could you possibly provide one? I'm trying to run 2 GTX 760s on an AsRock Extreme3 970. Windows 8.1 OS

I'm sort of lost on how this works. I'm sure it's been said before but there's so many pages. I don't know what certifications are or what they do. I haven't been able to install anything yet except a patch for "DifferentSLI". I can uninstall the drivers for that but I'm not sure what I'm doing at all on this. I tried to replace the sys file over the one on my nvidia drivers and now everything is 800x600. Is that normal?

You shouldn't have to do that on windows 8.1 only windows 10 has tighter driver security.

To answer your resolution question, no, it's not normal to only have 800x600, that's a default
resolution.

Follow these instructions:

Here's the installation instructions for differentsliauto:

1. Go to http://www.geforce.com/drivers and download the latest drivers (361.43) for your version of windows.
2. Go here: http://www.gamefront.com/files/25401790/nvlddmkm36143w or http://dl.free.fr/pghbDMTTa
3. Go here: https://github.com/EmberVulpix/DifferentSLIAuto/releases and download the 1.3 version of this package.
4. If you don't already have winrar installed, go here: http://www.rarlabs.com/download.htm and download the version of winrar for your system that is current and run the installer.
5. Unpack differentsliauto 1.3 to a folder of your choice (c:\diffsli13 for example).
6. Unpack the patched driver into the same folder you unpacked differentsliauto 1.3.
7. Run the official video driver installer you downloaded from nvidias' site and let it install the official drivers.
8. Once the official drivers are installed and the installer has finished, go back to where you unpacked differentsliauto 1.3 and you also have the patched nvlddmkm.sys.
9. Open a administrator level command prompt (hold down left-shift & right-click anywhere in the window (don't have any files high-lighted) and select 'open command window here'.
10. Run the 'Install.cmd' file, it should say 'success!' in green text at the bottom of the window if there were no errors.
11. Reboot your computer.
12. Go to your nvidia control panel and activate sli.

Alright I got it working now. I'm going to test a few games.
