The steps are the same for all operating systems except maybe windows 10, on that operating system sometimes you have to manually copy over the driver after running the install.cmd.

Go to post #3106 and watch the video, it shows how to open a administrator level command prompt, the video driver won't even try to install properly without doing this.

I checked the specs for your motherboard, this has built-in video, make sure you go to your bios and disable the on-board video gpu and set your 970's as the primary display, follow the installation
steps for the patched driver as you've been doing, but after you run the install.cmd, manually copy over the patched driver to "c:\windows\system32\drivers" rename the current nvlddmkm.sys that's
already there to something like "nvlddmkm.old" first. Reboot your computer and hopefully you'll be able to activate sli mode.

Glad everything is working! I'd still use a sli bridge, you'll get better performance.

Make sure you've renamed the nvlddmkm.sys file that's in c:\windows\system32\drivers first before running the install.cmd and manually copying over, read the readme that's in the rar file and do as it says.

Yep its exactly what I have try.

after every thing done, the nvlddmkm.sys used by nvidia its truly the patched one. the sise and timestamp match.
But no sli option in the nvidia control panel.

I have try lots of time with many different small change. most of the time every thing look ok, but the sli option never show up.

I know the driver itself is good, I can only assume that your doing something wrong even if you don't know what that is. Try unpacking the files in the certs rar file to the tools folder and try the install.cmd and
manual copying again, make sure you've also tried the following:

- Start > Run > Cmd > MMC
- File > Add / Remove Snap-in
- Add certificates
- Then there should be a DifferentSLI folder, delete the certs from there.
- Then remove the one from Trusted Root Certification Authorities > DifferentSli

Well I have try:

- but after you run the install.cmd, manually copy over the patched driver to "c:\windows\system32\drivers" rename the current nvlddmkm.sys that's
already there to something like "nvlddmkm.old" first.

and

- renamed the nvlddmkm.sys file that's in c:\windows\system32\drivers first before running the install.cmd and manually copying over.

Without positive result.

I don t realy understand your last advice.

I m agree, its can be great to instal the cert manually, but I don t realy understand how.

Unpack the certs.exe in the tools file ? I have try it.

Can you give more detail about how to instal the certs by this way cause, with this:
- Start > Run > Cmd > MMC
- File > Add / Remove Snap-in
- Add certificates
I don t see where I can load certs from a files.

And I don t understand why I should remove the certs the instal.cmd just instal it before.
Remove it for instal it manulay next ?

For my test I always try with a restored fresh win 10 instal I don t have problem with old differentsli patch and DDU its already run ... and more as I say here http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/sli-with-different-cards.158907/page-68#post-339857

An other question. the old hypersli patch, what he did exactly when he create a other boot option and he need the VT -D/C option for what exactly ?

Really complex problem :(

Check the output text of the install.cmd for errors, it shouldn't be this difficult to install this driver, something on your system is preventing it from installing properly.

''something on your system is preventing it from installing properly.''

Its what I have think, but ... on the text of the patch every thing look great.
Like the screen I take.
its after that the system certenely block it for some reason.
strangely on windows 7, after every thing done with different sli patch, its till not working, and after instal the old hyper sli its work again.

I want to try the same thing do hypersli on windows 10 but how ....

The only way to find out if hypersli 1.0 will work on windows 10 is to try it and see, if you've already tried this and it didn't work, what was the error?

Based on what you've told me, I think the following is happening:

1. The modified driver is not being signed either at all or at least not properly, this is why I wanted you to try and manually import the certificate.
2. Despite the fact that the driver is being manually copied over, the operating system is not letting it run for some reason, this is why I wanted you to turn off uac.
3. Assuming you've done everything right then the problem is a setting (or multiple settings) somewhere in your operating system that is preventing the driver from running.

Unless these settings can be figured out (these could also be in the bios) then at the moment I don't know what else I can suggest in the way of help, most other people can install
this driver just fine so it's something on your end, if I can think of anything else to suggest I'll post here. My best advice for now is to try and import the certificate with mmc.
