You probably can't, the person who started this thread a long time ago has not been here for 9 months, a number of others have helped out through their own experiences but whether any of them has the knowledge or the time to mod a new set of drivers is unknown.

Hello guys, I am having a problem and hopefully you can help me out. Several years back I had my rig running hyper sli with 2 560 ti's I recently upgraded two 970's and have followed the steps above and have been unable to get it to work. I am able to activate sli using the above methods but my OS goes back to windows basic (i'm running windows 7 by the way) and all games crash upon start up. Any help you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Here are my specs:
2 GTX 970's
AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1100T Processor 3.30 GHz
Windows 7 64 bit
8.00 GB of ram
Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3
850 watt psu
Nvidia Drivers: 361.43.....w/diffrentSLIAuto

Did you try that ?
With diferansliauto 1.3.1 from Github.

1. Disable UAC
2. Disable Virus software by regedit
3. Delete old Differentsli folder. (not nessesary if windows fresh instal)
4.Activate by regedit TEST MOD (Disable Driver Signature Enforcement Mode).
5. Open "run" certmgr.msc, delete all differentsliauto certs. (not nessesary if windows fresh instal)
6. Boot into safe mode, run DDU, Display driver uninstaller.
7. After reboot run reg cleaner and ccleaner.
8. Install NVIDIA drivers clean install. reboot
9. Extract Differentsliauto 1.3.1
10. DISABLE graphics cards in device manager
11. Copy "nvlddmkm.sys" into the DifferentSLI folder.
12. Run DifferentSLIAuto.exe and patch file
13. Reboot In Safe Mode with networck (shift reboot... )
14. Edit the Install.cmd text and delet this 2 ligne:
"net session >nul 2>&1
if %errorlevel% neq 0 goto notadmin."
15. Run Install.cmd
16. REBOOT
17. ENABLE graphics cards
18. REBOOT
19. Enable Sli in Nvidia control panel. If you don t see the sli option, its fail somewhere !



If after that You stay can t see the sli option in nvidiacontrol panel, try to instal next: hypersli patch (download link http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=13498622131712234029)

take a screen after launch the instal.cmd

You don t need any update, and anyway the creator of the patch is out ... from a lonnng time.

just run diferansliauto for patch the last driver by yourself and hopefully its can work.

why the surround mode (2 monitor) does not work in this way enabling SLI? This patch enables SLI but not multi-monitor ..... you can 'do something?

I have a question, I have an AMD Phenom x4 965 with 8GB DDR3 and my mobo : Asrock extreme 970. The SLI mod works good but the Performance is terrible.. 3DMark06 gives me a score of ~16k, and without sli 18-19k. Can someone help me?

I patched the follwing driver:

309.08 whql

In Nvidia Control Panel it says Quad SLI, but it dont Work in Programs like Furmark etc ( Fulscreen mode)

Can you help me to run this cards on my System propably that would be great!

install the drivers then go to c: \ windows \ system32 \ drivers, and copy the files to the nvlddmkm.sys DifferentSLIAuto1.3 folder. launches DifferentSLIAuto.exe and run the patch. ok after the patch launches install.cmd as administrator (Edit the text and install.cmd delet this 2 ligne:
"Net session> nul 2> & 1) PC reboot after installation. SLI ok

Same here. 361.91 works with my two 460GTX without problems but i have problems with patching all higher versions of drivers. I'm on windows 7 x64. But i think this is general problem. Check this:
