No need for any of that, if just simple load balancing would be applied.Heavier wire and more connector surface area or multiple connectors or lower power per wire; all valid solutions.

My Seasonic manual states: The PSU is for integration into a computer and not intended for external or outdoor usage. You are supposed to build a computer with it. You are not expected to use it as test equipment, to move the cables a lot, to plug the cable in dozens of different GPUs, to plug and unplug the cables from the PSU many times, etc.

No. It is the same as all other things. You put your consumer kitchen appliance into a restaurant kitchen, and it will be dead in a few days. You plug a weak plug in many GPUs and you will destroy it.
All products have their intended use. For example, PSU intended for testing would never come with modular cables and it would come with a test jig for measuring the condition of connectors.
You know, this has never before been a problem…All products have their intended use. For example, PSU intended for testing would never come with modular cables and it would come with a test jig for measuring the condition of connectors.
Well, we do now know why was this a problem for DerBauer, if the cable he used was faulty or marginal from the begining or not, and how used and abused it was.You know, this has never before been a problem…
Yep. Or better yet build it into the damn card like in 3090.Perhaps all 5090 should ship with a clamp meter?![]()
