It's probably the RAM, I've gone through these kind of sticks in past like I mentioned earlier... they're mostly a headache. Pretty low bin stuff. Any of the aforementioned sticks in this thread would likely be a significantly better shot - that should tell something tbh.

The Ballistix I suggested can obviously roll back towards 3800 and at a possible 1800 IF, perform well. However the OP also obviously don't need to spend that much. There have been quite some suggestions in this thread, take a 3600 of the liking. :)
no, 96% its a garbage motherboard
you can oc almost any old/bad ram to 3400+ on proper motherboard
like old 2016 DomPlatz 2400c14 to 3800c17/ 4000c18

You're comparing a known brand Corsair to the new comer Oloy that is using Unknown ICs.

able to do 4000c14-15, and 4000 14-14 is possible 1.55v+

The sticks he has are very low bin and in no form can be compared to Dominator Platinums. You're comparing top shelf memory geared all for overclocking to cheap random sticks that can't keep XMP. Please don't waste our time.

Yeah I'm willing to bet that info is untrue at best. Rev.B tends to actually perform... and heavily doubt OLoY would use that on some cheap sticks that are... unable to perform. Lol.

And where did you find that as what I found it's not even Micro its Spectek which is low bin Micron
replace motherboard then memory will work at XMP and higher
This combination is not working properly. Garbage motherboard + garbage memory
i dont know why people with 3070ti sitting on garbage like that

problem with combination of this cheap mobo + oloy kit. Memory will work at XMP on a normal board, which rated more than 3600 for DR in QVL
There is no other 16gbit ic's from Micron, learn the basis

Even if it's same IC, it's very lowly binned and has nothing to do with board. I can run 3600 on much crapper tier boards... with much crapper tier Zen CPUs. I think you're the one that needs to learn the basis. Especially since you keep posting unrelated stuff, see B-die and Rev-E kits you just talked about.

After this comment i can see you don't know what you are talking about considering my board in testing is among some of the top boards in build quality and has better phases and mosfets than alot of other B550 Boards considering it shares its phases with the X570 Big brother

dont matter how they binned, they have tested XMP profile.
While memory dont have errors, they are not defective. 3200 16-20 can run any trash IC from 2015, this is 2020 micron rev.B
problem not with the memory, noob

That means nothing and you need to stop resorting to insults. Having an XMP doesn't mean the RAM will do the XMP even in a configuration that the speeds are possible on. This is clearly a case of low quality RAM and you keep talking out of thin air.

b550pro4 cheap waste. VRM phases not affect memory overclocking.
This board rated only 3600 for dual rank, this is already a bad sign.
i tested Asrock board not while ago (nzxt z490), this lame board was able to run only 3466 1:1 on rocket lake with various vccsa range, while XII formula work as should: 3733

NZXT boards were legit OEM terrible crap, Asrock's own boards are certainly better.

NZXT z490 is a z490 velocita clone
For all: if you have Gigabyte or Asrock board expect problems with memory overclocking.(except OC formula, AQUA)
Asrock maybe will out from desktop motherboard business at all, they looking like a half-dead

I mean Velocita boards aren't great to begin with. Yes, Asrock isn't exactly excellent... but his board isn't one of the worse boards actually. I'm doubting it's the board at fault here. I ran a Gigabyte board for a while... didn't exactly suck at RAM OC but sucked in other means like boot loop issues (yes it was an X570).

infinite bootloops, poor memory oc - its typical gigabyte
They have great hardware part, but pathetic bios. at least they add safe_boot in z590.

Not quite the same as here, but similar.

I had occasional RAM failures under testing but had lots of spare RAM to test with... still the occasional RAM test failure; I replaced the mother board with an identical one; problem solved.

Are you on the latest BIOS?

Not exactly low cost but, these rock:

They're no longer produced, but you can carry them towards Z690 and get good results in the future. I recall clocking mine towards 4500, but CPU was limiting... like there was more to be had.
That price! I tested these on Z690 and they were a treat:

If you want to check out the review, it's at pcinq.com/reviews/memory-reviews/mushkin-redline-lumina-ddr4-4000-review/

Not quite the same as here, but similar.

I had occasional RAM failures under testing but had lots of spare RAM to test with... still the occasional RAM test failure; I replaced the mother board with an identical one; problem solved.

Are you on the latest BIOS?

Looks like your board is on g-skill qvl

It's the red and black set no rgb

Wow, it took them that long to do the same coverage as I did on Page 2 in 2019?
It's not even four DIMMs vs two, it's four ranks vs two. In 2019, you could get four ranks by ordering nearly any 32GB kit because the common density was 8 gigabits per IC. Of course that changed around the end of that year when 16 gigabit chips became plentiful enough to economically use in single-rank DIMMs.
