NVIDIA 2025 International CES Keynote: Liveblog

DLSS 4 support in Cyberpunk 2077 - link just came out, video still unlisted

Reflex 2 with frame warp

What they should be showing is DLSS quality with frame generation next to it not with everything off though.... Being smooth is nice but not if you have a latency hit to generate 2 additional frames

what im asking is. is it really indeed 5070=4090?

if you count generating 3 extra frames from 1 frame performance then sure.

Captain Nvidia is here

In select benchmarks probably yes
When you're faking the frames and resolution you can theoretically get whatever you want

Obviously we can't know equal comparisons until independent reviews come out

If there is no latency hit turning it on and artifacts are at least comparable I'm ok with it but if latency gets worse like frame gen F that...

That Founders Edition is sexy AF too. That's gonna be tough to snag.
That PCB is super sexy. Imagine the custom water blocks...

Thats just label price, actual prices will be $1000 over that mark thanks to "AI" craze.

Undoubtedly, but if you can just hold off for a couple of months, you should be able to get something at close to MSRP

Exactly as I predicted, new feature for 50 series, existing feature set persists for older gens.

I just want to see the apples to apples performance difference not extra interpolated frames or whatever we want to call it....

The 5090 probably for a long time because of its AI use and 32GB of vram

below that a couple months probably as long as there is no shortage etc.

Absolutely, traditional reviews needed. I'd wager W1z already has at least one 50 series card in hand.

If you can get he first batch, the price should be MSRP. After that, good damn luck for like 6 months to 12 months...

5070 equal to 4090?? really? how exactly.
80 is half of 90, and 70 is half of 80
There is no way 5090 has 60k cuda
So 70 is no way comparable to 4090

Just the same thing, locking 40 series out of DLSS4 and upsell the new generation.

maybe next week if they are for sure coming the 20th we will likely get an unboxing cuz nvidia luvs dat shite....

I agree with you there, ain't no way a 70 is a 4090 in one generation - Natively anyways. But they are saying with the addition of DLSS from my understanding.

Until we know how good DLSS4 actually is I won't make judgment but if it's just frame generation with 2 extra frames hell na I'm good....

So based on those prices and the claim "none of this would be possible without Ai", I'm gonna guess that the only card that will have next gen raster bump will be the 5090, while for the rest of the stack Jensen is basically selling software updates.

Yeah, ain’t no way the 5070 equals 4090, not in a raw performance without gimmicks. That’s just unbelievable. They MUST be talking about with DLSS 4 On. Just makes no sense otherwise. That would be the largest gen to gen leap… uh… in a very long time.

So the prices aren't that bad, at least not what we feared. 5080 isn't 1200-1500. Not impressed by dlss4, even though I use FG on the regular for power saving. Well, maybe I will be if the new beta version of DlssSR turns out great

Maybe they will release apple to apple slides for the press.... Hopefully.... Prices are good but without apples to apples we don't know how good..

$2000 for the 5090

But what's the retail price?

"RTX 5070 matches RTX 4090 at $550."

In what? AI TOPS? Not interested.

If in pure gaming performance, then that's a very interesting proposition.
