they were very limited.. they might not be now thow.. either speed binned chips or more volts at stock.. the early ones wouldnt do 850 stock guaranteed..

HIS announced the 850 clocked turbo a while back but they took some time to appear.. i just looked at the bios.. it seems to be volted at 1.3.. so its not more volts.. they also seem to come with the old 860 black screen bios.. or a modded version of it.. have u tried going past 862 with it..??

Got my 3870x2 arriving in the morning ill crank things up see what i can get.

p.s. The operating system should be noted in the tests cos you loose around 250+ marks by using windows vista.

True, I have noticed the hit is taken entirely in the CPU department, and I have seen my results vary by 600 during some tests.

i aint used vista yet tbh im just going on my friends 3dmark scores using xp and then vista he lost around 250 marks on tests but yes i guess it depends on the system.

I think all the results should be on their own.

When I had a dual core I only lost about 300, when i went to a quad it was almost always above 600. When Im in a 3dmark kick I always have a dual boot setup, it seems almost useless to run in Vista because the results are always less.

Thats why Im excited that "The Haunted" is using Vista, if he was on XP he would be destroying my numbers! HEHE. I bet you(the haunted) could hit 15 or 15,500 pretty easily with the core that your running!
