Here you can’t find a 5090.
You have to order, pay and wait for unknown period.
Starting from 2800€ up to 3600-3900€ for the liquid ones.
Here by me, 5090 is SOLD OUT. Been that way since day one. No ETA yet.

Or just buy the prebuilt with a 14900KF and 4070 ti super instead, for a couple hundred more.

Fk it. I wanna game. Guess I'll just grab the prebuilt unit.

Lol.

There's a 5080 Ventus x3 in FS section scalped up to 400$ if you need it that badly. It goes for 1269$ on MSI store.

Since it was already shipped and handled, I consider it used. Anyone can shrink plastic onto a box.

I was thinking to offer the guy (like actually seriously) 1269$ shipped.

But you know what?

Think my next card/s will be AMD if new.

I’m ok with 7900XTX for at least a couple of years more, 3 if possible.
For now I’m going to migrate from AM4 to AM5 and that’s it for 2-3 years. Most like next upgrade after getting into AM5 will be a Zen6.

I think we should get together to put together some prebuilts next yr.

If people think its a good idea I'll help out, Id be willing to build them the best PC they've ever owned.

We could even give them the choice of which motherboard the community would like us to use. I could of done a 5090 and a 5080 build this time around.

So if anyone wants a prebuilt even now just let me know which motherboard cpu gpu and case youd prefer and I'll get on it.

Every now and then Im seeing deals on the crosshair hero x670e and new version. Ive got a 7800X3D kicking around, I still might throw in a 4070.
I can do
----------------------------------
High end Gaming Rig
RTX4070Ti or Super - £700
7800X3D - £400
Crosshair hero X870E - £550 The motherboards are stupid prices. This board is selling for up to £800+
DDR5 64 - £155
Asus PSU 1200w - £150
TT Case - £150 or case of your choosing
cost£2050

Build price £2550 Only using high end parts.
Im looking online and the average price of a computer like this is £4000+
Im itching to put a build together to see just how cheap I could make it for the community.
-----------------------------------
What do people think. We have some of the best PC builders in the world visiting this forum. My PC's are next level. :toast:

Yes, but in the reviews 5080 will be 999$ and be praised for good value. The fact that only MSRP cards which are FE will be bought up by bots in 10 seconds doesn't matter.
That is the plan, since after mining.
They can say MSRP is whatever they like. It will not be 999$ in real world where you just go to a website and buy a GPU.
Because VAT it cost ofc more than 999$

It's reached a point where I genuinely don't need more. If the 6090's price is crazy, and big UDNA sane, then AMD will get my business.

Can usually take MSRP in $ and translate it into the same £ and that's with VAT included, has been this way for a long time, not sure if it's a good or bad thing, but yea, MSRP in $ you can literally use £ to work out the UK cost which includes VAT as standard

The situation will get worse as nothing we see is going to change for the better.

TSMC will still be king and dictate the costs in 2 years time
Nvidia has no pressure to make their gaming side great again.
There are no external parties to pressure Nvidia to change. Nvidia do not earn royalties from games sales.
Intel and Amd are flaffing about aimlessly.

PC Gaming, as we have known, is dead, RIP 2025.

The 6090 is most likely just a shrink of the 5090 with 36GB of 40Gbps memory ~1920 GBs. N3E provides +60% logic density +15% clock speed, meaning 337mm2 of Cuda cores shrink to 210mm2. and they need to fix the ROPs. 176 is a complete joke, ok for a Compute GPU. But if 192 ROPs is 54mm2 when there should be 256, it's a small price to pay.

If you think that’s a ridiculous price for a 5090, here is a retailer in Dubai selling it for approximately $7,800. It’s a complete shit show here. Only thing i can do is wait for the next restock.

$999 MSRP doubled because of 25% VAT and a custom fan design? Is this real life?
No,
this is just fantasy.
Prices caught in a landslide, no escape from reality
Open your case, look at that empty gpu space and see
I'm just a first world customer, I need no sympathy
Because I'm easy to con, easy to go
Priced just a little high, not a little low,
Any way the wind blows doesn't really matter to me, to me...

Ludicrous prices here:

Gigabyte AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 MASTER 32GB GDDR7
GV-N5090AORUS M-32GD
$6599

I've never seen a price for a video card this expensive!
I was saying that "there goes my mortgage for a month" now, make that two months ffs.
No way in hell am I paying these prices. Good job Nvidia.

I am an avid gpu collector and own pretty much most flagship cards both from nvidia and amd and i was ready to drop $5000 on a 5090 but now idc anymore with these ridiculous prices. Just gonna chill and wait for as long as i have to till prices become somewhat reasonable.

I honestly believe they are not even worth 4k, little alone 5k or 6.5k. It kinda feels like Nvidia is destroying the PC gaming industry, instead of helping it.

They are definitely not worth that much. Especially considering the crap generational uplift compared to previous flagships. This hobby is just getting more and more expensive each day.

Praying for Nvidia’s downfall so they go back to focusing on gaming instead of ai \o/

This is how the prices look in my neck of the woods.
Divide all the prices by 5 and you'll get the prices in USD/EUR, they're almost the same value compared to the toothless and clawless Leu.
This is one of the biggest retailers around.

AIB's are scalping, stores are scalping. They are just useless at this point and making things worst.
Just make one model and sell on the nvidia site only with a queue system and one per customer, at this point it would be best for all of us

gamers are not the only losers with all this, no gpus less people buying games. Soon EA or MS will have to give a gpu when you buy a game if they want to have people buying their games

Or they can push people into consoles and game streaming even harder.

Mostly pushing people toward consoles lately, it's too obvious. It's a much bigger market with a much less user/consumer freedom, a win-win situation for corporations. Gaming consoles nowadays are a game development cancer, I'm saying that for years. We need PC exclusives to combat this trend.
Imagine a 10 PC exclusive games of different genres which are so damn good that console peasants are selling their stuff to buy a PC? Yeah... Meanwhile kids and their stupid credit card holders are amazed by a half-arsed console exclusives, and that's the sad reality we live in.
