is this fine for new games playing ? and could you help me hoe details numeric i should edit. in hex editor?
Hi, my post is about different graphics cards. And it works on drivers no higher than 399.07.
If you have 2 identical video cards, then you only need to unlock the motherboard, how to do it is written above for different versions of the driver. Games with anti-cheat will not work.

i have 1060gtx 6gb couples and success to sli before with 388.71
Start here, using offsets which matches the driver version you'll be using:

Google "Using Hex Editor" to see how a hex editor works.

i used 2 gtx 1060 6gb. but in proses the patch says cant found the location. i followed the dsli 1.71 step. could you help me?

*notes
i succesfully sli 1060 6gb with 388.71 but 399.07 patch saya cant found location

Start here, using offsets which matches the driver version you'll be using:

Google "Using Hex Editor" to see how a hex editor works.
i cant even install the 417.71 driver cause says the driver not compatible with windows version. so i still cant get to hex editor yet

Versao windows 10 x64

Segue imagem e arquivo ja modificado para download.

O procedimento de instalar é o mesmo ja citado nos posts anteriores.

Obrigado

After studying a little, and with the help of the forum, I was able to put two GTX 760 in one GA-Z77M-D3H

I haven't tested the performance yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

However, follows my contribution:

I have compiled the nvlddmkm.sys file from version 441.41

Hi!

I purchased two rtx 2070 supers and an older server to go with them. (hp dl360 gen9)

I haven't been able to enable sli/nvlink and from what I see on hpe forums the system only supports sli on quadro cards.

Would I be able to enable sli/nvlink on my setup with this mod or have I totally wasted my time getting into this?

Thanks in advance!

If it's only the SLI certification of your MoBo preventing you from running these cards in SLI, then yes, this patch would solve your issue and is worth a try.

Hi guys I've been following this project since the earlie days and used the sli patch to make working drivers for my system suceffuly since the last patch 388. I have a Asus Crosshair IV Formula with a pair of GTX 680 4GB in SLi with the driver in 388 but any new drivers got me into problems since this HEX editor way. I suceffuly can edit and install drivers but any driver above 388, when I active SLI and try to run any game on fullscreen I got the screen flickering. Sometimes is a very fast flickering sometimes are slow flickers like making my screen black for 3s then the game appears for 1 then more 5s of black screen then the game for 1 then another black screen. But the case is this just happens when in fullscreen! If i run the game on windowed boderless I can run the game just fine in SLI. Both GPUs working and no flickers. This happens only in fullscreen. ps: I dont know if newer drivers are any improvement for game performance for my cards both for SLI support i think it helps?

Newer drivers most probably have better support for newer games, even on older GPU architectures.
But in your case I think it doesn't make sense to update, if the Hex Edit way of patching results in these problems.
Usually things like flickering are caused by hardware problems, which the old way of patching obviously seems to circumvent.

I think I did everything right. I followed the guide on the ltt forum but used the values for the driver version 445.75 posted above.

I didn't get any errors or anything. Would someone be able to provide some guidance?

I'm sure that both gpus are working correctly and are plugged in to 16x slots. The nvlink/sli bridge is connected and lights up normal.

Is there something that only needs to be done on a dual socket system perhaps? I think both pcie slots on the expansion board I'm using are wired to cpu 1 on the motherboard.

Basically yes, but before you start be aware that Windows needs to use Test Signing Mode which is not tolerated by anti-cheat software for games.
I think I did everything right. I followed the guide on the ltt forum but used the values for the driver version 445.75 posted above.
I don't know whether guides on other forums are reliable.
Better use this one:

Just ran a DDU, deleted previous signatures of DifferentSliAuto and deleted everything "Differentsliauto" stuff in regedit, just like your guide says.

Then did the mod installation from scratch following the guide carefully. Again I used the values for the driver version 445.75 posted here. I did everything according to the guide but still no Sli option available in the Nvidia control panel.

I have no idea what I could be doing wrong.

Find out the location of the active nvlddmkm.sys by opening Device Manager → Double click main display adapter → Tab: Driver → Driver Details , then go to that location and check the file's properties about which certificate has been attached. It should read DifferentSLIauto and not nVidia or Microsoft.
On Win 10 the location should be in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\ and then within something like nv_dispi.inf_amd64_xxxxxxxxxxxxx

It says that it's been signed by DifferentSLIAuto.
This means that the install procedure of the patched driver was successful.

The problem now could be either these offsets posted above not working on every system, meaning you could still try another driver version where forum feedback has indicated success (backread a few pages), or it's indeed something uncommon with your particular system which this patch does not catch.

It took me a while but I tried all drivers I could find for the rtx 2070 super that had hex values listed in this thread. Sli configuration didn't show up in the Nvidia control panel with any of them.

I was almost giving up but I had one last idea. I dont think its a hardware problem so I just tried another think. Making some testings its seems like is a DirectX thing, so I installed the newer 445.75 driver sucessfuly and tested some games. Again DX 9,10,11 in fullscreen have flickering. If I alt+tab the game some times the flicker stops when in fullscreen. So its looks like a software problem... Then I thoug about testing it on OpenGL, and surprise in OpenGL it runs SLi perfectly without any problems.

SOLVED:I track down the problem to Windows 10 at the moment. If anyone is having issues with SLI on fullscreen just go to the game's .exe file, right click it and go to properties. Click the compatibility tab and put a tick in "disable fullscreen optimizations" option. It solved the problem for me.

I believe the certificate is already blacklisted.
A few hours after I signed the drivers using @Statelo's method, Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool detected the driver and simply deleted it on the next boot.

For those using @Statelo's method, you will have to disable Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool. Winaero has a good guide about it.

https://winaero.com/blog/disable-malicious-software-removal-tool/

In my case, I was unable to remove the Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool using the 'wusa' command. If the same happens to you, simply delete 'MRT.exe' from your 'System32' folder.

I tired it and couldn't get it to work, The second you change the date back the certificate becomes unsigned. Are you still using this? The PDF instructions also didn't help because it doesn't say if you should you should install "Trust Asia PFX" .

Hi everyone here.
First of all want say huge thank you for this thread and share my experience.

I have MSI GTX 970 4GD5T OC + ZOTAC GTX 970. I was surprised that these cards don't work together. I thought that only gpu model matters for SLI technology. That's how I found this thread.
I managed enable SLI in NV control panel with 388.71 and 442.50 (thanks to @angel618).

But when I started testing I noticed artifacts in Unique Heaven Bench 4.0, minor artifacts in Fallout 4 (tested with 388.71), Rise of the Tomb Rider in the middle of performance test game crashes.
However GTA 5, Far Cry 5, Mirrors Edge Catalyst, Crysis 3 seems to be working well (I tested these games only like 5-10 mins each, so maybe it's not true:))

I'll post more info after additional testing.

Hey guys, new here, I've been following this thread for a long while to try and SLI my GTX 970. Some of you guys may know, some certain EVGA 970s don't SLI together, wanted to use this as an alternative.

I've tried looking for a while, but is there a post with the most recent instructions and download? That would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Is it possible to switch on sli with same cards, via sli connector/cable on non sli boards?
Yes, that's exactly what DifferentSLIauto is about. Although from driver version 4xx, the patch no longer addresses different cards.

To install, start here, using offsets which matches the driver version you'll be using:
You find the offsets for newer drivers by backreading this forum.

These 970s frequently seem to be considered as different cards.
So the old patcher and driver (1.7.1 & 388.71) might help.
Installation is outlined in this post (start reading below the video):

To both of you: Be aware that there's no guarantee of success.
The patch might work or it might not.
So don't go out and buy another card in the expectation of success with this patch.

Thank you Pinkpanther, it worked like a charm! Got basically expected scaling even without a SLI bridge (got the mobo from a friend he didn't give me the bridge yet). I'm sure this has been asked before already, but is there any way to boot without being in test mode? In addition, I see in the forums a bunch of hex codes correlating to each release of new drivers, what is that about exactly?

Thanks!

The SLI Bridge has no function.
SLI works with and without it. Score is the same, but it is slower then same cards with full working sli bridge.
