P2P is non functional due to some copyright crap
The module needs a patch, something went wrong with the upload and the mission scripts are missing expect a patch in a few hours to fix it.

Just to be clear there is no way to leave the hangar ATM due to the missing level files, but you can play around with the new stuff in the hangar.

Well that would certainly explain it! thanks! Also sad to see I can't put my nice upload speed to good use.

Wait you've already downloaded 11GB of stuff...? I have atleast 3 days to go....

You are very lucky! I was hoping for like 256KB/s Technacly my internet is supposed to be 512KB D and 256KB UP.. .I'm DLing at the speed of 74KB/s this should take a few days! Here I come SP only! and less than half a mile from me is fiber optics, but they won't hook me up! even for $3000!

Man that stinks! I'm lucky and have a 100mbit/s synchronous connection that usually tops out very close to its theoretical speed(98Mbit/s both down and up). One of the perks of living at uni housing i suppose!

I would imagine that it'll be way quicker for you to just walk to a friend nearby, download it over there, put the folder on some removable storage and take it back home again>.>.

On topic: It would seem like they've already done quite a bit of optimisation. My fps seems higher in the hangar module, even with another ship in there. Probably still need to OC the good ol' 7950 for decent playable framerates during combat on very high, but it was kind of a surprise to see things running more smoothly!

Oh damn. I didn't realise that said minimum. This is the first time I feel underprepared for a games requirements. My VRAM might even crack under 1440p, I wonder if AMD will have the upper hand in that regard

I've been checking out the different graphics settings and even on low it looks amazing. I was running on high pretty smoothly with a 7970 at 1250/1650 on 1440p. OC'd CPU will help a lot too.

I might try maxing everything out and just turning off AA and MSAA and see how it looks. What basic CPU/GPU setup are you using and what settings are you on for a solid framerate?

Also, what are the audio options? Any 7.1 surround support? I might dig out my 5.1 surround system and blow off the dust to get a little oomph and take a break from the headset.

I didn't realize it had finally patched last night, and I ahd never seen the "Auto Update" feature, so I had to wait Still, at least I'll get to give it a whiz tonite should be fine on ram at 32Gb, but my poor 6950s are going to be choked, I'm betting. Hey guys I know this is off topic, but I'm hoping someone here could help me, I just did speedtest.net and here is my results 122ping 1.23Mbps down and 0.43Mbps Upload, while DLing SC.

So my question is can i make it so I can actually DL at my normal speed? instead it caps around 128KBs on the SC Lanucher.... I have it set to unlimited, is it a router thing(ASUS RT-AC66U) or ISP? I left my routers monitor up during the night and it's AVG is 121.36 Kbps Down and 4.57 KB/sUp. The Maxs are 407.11 KB/s down and 72.28 KB/s up

I'm making room on my main SSD... Had to move Titanfall's 50gb installed folder on another drive... This has been a screwed up week.. Windstream decided to change one of my sister companies static IP address and screwed up my DNS, Remote Desktop Server, and Exchange server... Well SC Launcher just started to re download everything again I quit....Back to patch 1.

EDIT fixed after another patch plus force closed SC Launcher. down to 7.56GB I decided to tether all of my phone data limit for the month I only get 5GB, but thats a lot faster than my current internet... If I had enough data could be done in 90min.

I'm going to log off and cool down I must have woke up on the wrong side of the bed today.

Most likely, it's a Server thing. I've got a 15Mb pipe, and it was barely breaking 500k when I left for work. I think it's just the load on their server, and since they were (apparently) unable to figure out how to make it work P2P, we're at the mercy of their pipes.

I was downloading at 6MB/s took about 25 mins for the whole thing

I dont mean to be a doomsday caller, but its a worldwide spread DDoS of some kind, the UK as a whole has been having some serious internet issues, my workplace has been attacked with a bruteforce this week. My internet got taken down from 84mb to just under 7mb

My joystick is configured very strangely, so I'm waiting for some way to configure it. Xbox360 controller works great though, I just made it to the 13th round of Vanduul Swarm in a 300i! ... Then it seems the Vanduul just wanted to ram me dead.

I'm not an early enough backer to have multiplayer yet.
The learning curve on the joystick controls is pretty steep. I still haven't gotten the knack for it yet and a lot of others are struggling too!
The game looks amazing so far. It's unbelievable that they still have considerable optimizations to make.

Update: My HOTAS bit works great.
i fly in regular mode or gforce disabled. decoupled mode is only good for strafing which how they have it setup atm is more of a gimmick

I tried everything but joystick/hotas, my stick drifts badly to the left and I haven't decided on what hotas to get.
