It reached mobile too but I can't post photo because controls are disabled.
Disabled adblock but still have no options for formating.

Looks like the missing images are tied to additional filters that are not enabled by default. Anyone using ublock origin should reset settings to default for now. Nope, it's tied to EasyList:

Switching it off restores news images.


Reaction images are missing on mobile. Disabling ublock does not help.

Again, whitelisting TPU in your ad-blocker and blocking googletagmanager in "NoScript" will solve this problem.

Why would I white list a site that I haven't had any issues with until yesterday

Obviously W1z is messing with the programing maybe working on what adblock had stated was the issue

Now everyone's star chicklets are gone too and it's doesn't seem to be ublock origin like said by Chomiq so maybe firefox is blocking but I sure can't find the setting that would cure it it's like I'm logged out because visitors can't see stars or like at all

Also might be malwarebytes but I don't use browser protections so I doubt it.

It is this this ublock easy list it's for adds so what adds is being added lol
I turned ublock off yesterday and it did nothing positive

That's strange, because Easylist remains enabled on my browser and everything's fine?

BTW, Firefox is set to standard level tracking protection

If you open the logger you can clearly see what rules get applied to the page and how they're nuking most of the images

1. Because TPU shows only safe ads vetted by W1zzard, which are inoffensive and focused on the scope of what TPU is about.
2. Because TPU deserves the revenue from the above stated ads.
3. Because if UBlockOrigin is causing a problem, disabling it can solve it.

TBF, if it were ANY other web site, ads would be blocked without mercy. But this is TPU. They have set the high-bar standard for ethical ads streams and as such are worthy of and have earned special consideration in this area.

Adblock and likely ublock are seeing these image url's as redirects and why they are being blocked I'm guessing but yeah I saw mussel's thread and fanboy said stop changing url's it has nothing to do with adds on this site.

For anybody using EasyList, enter this script in your My Filter in uBO dashboard:

I don't know if this is a new filter just recently added, but this is also from EasyList:

/^https?:\/\/.*tpucdn\.com\/[a-z0-9\d\D]{1,8}\/[a-z0-9]{5,14}/$image,domain=techpowerup.com

To counter that filter, add this script to your My Filter:

@@||tpucdn.com^$image

There are filters from uBO filters (default filters of uBO) that affect the images on TPU.
To counter those filters, add these scripts to your My Filter:

techpowerup.com#@#[target="_blank"] [src$=".jpg"][src^="/"]

EasyList is known to be far-reaching. This is not the first time its filter(s) breaks websites. Past complaints regarding EasyList mentioning issues about people claimed they couldn't login unless EasyList is disabled or websites don't show any images despite not using any ad(s) or tracker(s).

Before a couple days ago it did not matter none were blocked because ads on the front page aren't popups/ jplayer/... they have never been blocked at all by ublock

Thankfully NightOfChrist has posted some workarounds that I'm trying atm everything seems fine

I did. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to see the ads, which are quite informative and interesting.
Unlike other sites, mostly western, TPU has good ads from Seasonic or EVGA that I like to click.
It also seems like the ads are personally curated.

My uBO is always disabled in TPU. The only exception is almost everything Google, which I've blocked everywhere (host, router, etc.).

But not everybody wants to disable their adblocker in TPU, and I have no right to force them to disable it.
So just in case they have a problem with the images/pictures, I posted the scripts to bypass certain filters in uBO.

Forget about getting any help there. Regardless of how well curated the ads are on TPU, they'll see them as nasty ads regardless and will continue trying to block them, regardless of whether they break everything or not.

wow... that's a prick....I thought the ublock origin guy was pretty nice when I've dealt with him... maybe go to him instead of fanboy....
