Fixed means only in code yet, or it's alive on the site already, because I still got two results?
it should be live, but yes, you are right, investigating further

edit: fixed now

Can you make it So that when you clock on a low quality post I revert in back to that low quality post instead of it just being there after you click it.

Maybe he wants to be able to re-hide low-quality posts after he views them? Might be a nice feature to have.

Unsure if just me, no images in latest UPS review

edit: ublock origin, first time it's ever glitched out like this (and the rest of the website is fine)

edit 2: the fix was to "purge cache" in ublock origins dashboard and redownload the filters. how odd.

I just had to disable ublock origin as well for my Grandpa who wanted me to order him some bird feed on Amazon. lol First time I ever had to disable it for Amazon. Literally this was one hour ago. So yeah latest update must be doing something off.

I am going to uninstall it for now. I really don't browse the web anymore to be honest anyway. /shrug

My solution is different. I simply disable adblocking for TPU. W1zzard has held the high bar for years on the types of ads shown and where they come from. Just whistlist TPU and everything will be golden!

On a different note I have an issue with comment deletion. Before we begin, I am NOT challenging the mods or the moderation performed in this action. The intention is to highlight a problem with the notifications given about such moderation. Let's continue.

A comment of mine was deleted, but the problem is that I have no idea which one, what the comment was about or context of the reason for deletion. See example below;
MysteryCommentDeletion.jpg

Without knowing what comment is being referred to, we users can not understand the context of the moderation being performed. A simple quote of the comment would help in this understanding greatly. Otherwise we users have no idea what the problem was or who to discuss it with.

Hmm .. this is stupid indeed, but just the way xenforo does things, probably because once deleted there is no way to link to the content, like you could with a thread

In the mod tools when we delete posts theres a few fields, one for a message to be sent (email?) and one for a reason for deletion (that message?)

I dunno if this could be solved by adjusting those fields, so that the privately sent one contains the *Deleted post by default?

I thought with the newer XenForo version comment removed are just hidden from common view? Regardless, yeah would explain it.

Ok here's an idea: Is there a way set XenForo up so that it auto copy/pastes the deleted comment into the "Reason" field which the mods can then follow with a stated reason for deletion? If possible, it would be very helpful in understanding what the mods are telling us. Often, comments are deleted because they are a response to another deleted comment and it can be very confusing to understand if what was said was the offending comment or just a part of the conversation that was removed. Then there's users like me who can sometimes post dozens of comments a day. It can be tough to remember an exact comment that gets moderated a few days later.

This shouldnt be revealing w1zzs dirty secrets, so i'll post a screeny of "warn"ing you for that post

I get Custom warning, Notes, and public warning - three fields to fill out
I assume the "public warning" is the part you could see, and is off by default? I honestly dont know, despite how many infractions i've earned myself

We uhh.... we can be lazy. we can make typos, or put stuff in the wrong field.

I cannot code or program for shit, so i have no idea how other forum softwares handle this, but there is likely a way to copy the deleted post and email it to the user (with whatever vague, illogical reason the senile mods gave)

Might be worth pointing this problem out in the official XF support forum, maybe? It should at least quote the post as plain text and perhaps just a small snippet to give the user an idea of what was moderated.

Facebook is even worse: they show you once and then never again. Clearly, this is deliberately engineered to be like this, although the post is only actually hidden. Dumb af and I can't see a reason for it.

Honestly, just an auto-copy&paste function for the comment being deleted into the message to the user would be very helpful. Granted, my comments don't get removed often enough that it's going to be a serious problem, but it still frustrating to know a comment was deleted and not have an understanding as to why. And we don't want to increase the workload of the mods either as that would only annoy them.

Here's my idea;

Seem to be having issues accessing the main site, my browser says read tpucdn.com but never goes any where and stays stuck on a blank page with and infinite loading icon. Located in san antonio texas, the fourms pop up no issue at all as you'd expect but the main site is a no go? anyone else having issues accessing the main page?

hmm.. actually just seems to be an issues with only my laptop. i'll investigate it further, thanks for the quick response.

Ok. So i attempted to do a bit of troubleshooting on my end, with my ISP's dns i cannot access the site at all on either machine, I can however access any other site i normally visit just fine. when i switch my dns to 1.1.1.1 the main site loads fine but the forums will not load. I also noticed that when i use the cloudflare dns none of the pictures on the main site will load under the news stories but the pictures for the reviews header & the advertisements will load just fine. seems like i am having some routing issues? do you have any other suggestions that i might try to help troubleshoot? I also tried googles public dns and quad 9's but both of those refuse to load both sites at all. @W1zzard

Posting this one from my phone on the t-mobile network. Home page loads fine but same issue with none of the news articles loading any pictures. Forums access works just fine and works as expected.
