I voted PS4... Only for blueray and something to play with my daughter with better graphics other than the wii. I'm turning her into a pc gamer thought.. hehehe She likes to get on my computer and put on my big surround sound headphones.. lol they're bigger than her head... My wife said the other day, "She's turning into you!"...lol She's my little prodigy.. hehehe They all think I'm crazy, but I know better. It is not I who are crazy. It is I who am mad! Can't you hear them? Didn't you see the crowd?

I'll stick with pc

If I had to choose, I'd pick the PS4 this generation because of the better APU and it's the same technology as the Xbone, so PS4 should be more powerful. Wii U just doesn't appeal to me.

Xbone has some pretty nice exclusives, but as there are no games out yet, I can't decide if they are worth it.

I just hope because of the similar architectures, we don't get crappy console ports anymore for PC.

Where there is a will, there is always crappy ports. I forsee that ports from XBone and PS4 to PC will still be as bad as need for speed criterion.

If I had to choose I would pick the PS4 but in reality I spit on the PS4(a little less than the one) and XB1, its sad how features we already have had are becoming selling points now.

Wii U is a joke IMO, I'd only want to try out Zombie U. The One is a joke per Microsoft and their stupid policies. Always been a Sony fan so PS4 all the way, already have it preordered, along with Battlefield 4, Killzone, Second Son, and Watch Dogs. The only exclusive I'd want on the One is dead Rising 3. Kinda funny to see how many people get upset over a simple thread about gaming in a games section. PC Elitists, lol.

PC for gaming, and I already have an HTPC that performs excellently. However, there are some additional features I think might be worth integrating the Xbone eventually into my network....but the price will have to come down first.

The xbox one only really has Forza which interests me, the PS4 also more exclusives so id go for the PS4 in that respect; both have Metal Gear Solid 5 ect which i wish would also come out on PC. Honestly as long as i can take a game over to a mates house i don't care about having to use a user account. Wii U right now is garbage, but it does look more likely to get the best exclusives and exclusives are the only thing that would make me bother not playing on my PC.

The main two titles I want to see on PC probably will come to it, Destiny and The Division, so I can't see putting up with a crap gamepad for a few exclusive titles. The exclusives always play even worse movement and aim wise too. Only exceptions might be Halo, because it adapts well to KB/M controls even without porting. Not a Halo fan though.

I guess hardware wise the PS4 has the edge, but ironically the only PS exclusive I'm interested in right now is only made for PS3, The Last of Us. It's weird how I'm seeing conflicting reviews on it's AI though. Some say they're too dumb, others say they're too overwhelming and that you end up dying a lot. Guess I'll find out if my friend with a PS3 buys it.

Not for sure really. I have every console PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii...
I only have a X360 for Forza as I have played everyone, so that would be the only reason for XboxOne, but I don't have internet that can handle always on... and PS4 so far look meh to me. For now I won't vote till I find more info.

I haven't games on my PS3 in probably a good year and a half, and am not really all that interested in any of the next consoles. But the sole fact that the PS4 is $400 compared to the PS3 launching at $600 actually has me interested. I doubt I'll have one at launch, but maybe next spring I will pick one up just incase any exclusives I am interested come out, if not, it'll be relegated to streaming movies from my PC and being a Netflix viewer (replacing what my PS3 currently does).

the only games I play on my PS3 are japanese rpg(imported ones) because they're are some awesome ones and they are released constantly, and hulu and netflix.

my 360 though has been collecting dust recently.

The WiiU, all I can hope for nintendo is that they don't end up like sega did because the WiiU is not doing well.

Ultimately I will own both the PS4 and Xbox One but the PS4 I will buy on release.

I'll pickup an xbox a year or two after they release....if that.

Was thinking about selling my graphics cards. Because I'm not playing any games at all lately. This might change since I just bought Battlefield 3 for $5 on origin.

Yea, but the key point Nintendo focused on with the Wii U (vs the Wii) was making features that removed the possibility for just playing the think on an emulator. BTW, I never had a Wii, but using Dolphin emulator I played several of the Wii games in 1080p! Using HDMI I was able to play on the big screen too. You can use a PS3 controller to play Wii games on the PC. Here's the config file

I wouldn't even count the Wii-U, and I'd wait 2 years before getting anything. Price drops+ games worth playing by then. No reason to blow that kind of cash on day one for this shit.
