I just fired up Real RTCW (Castle Wolfenstein) on Steam only to find out that version 5.0 saves are not compatible with the updated version 5.1.
I even renamed folders as per this Steam discussion but still all my saves were gone. Has anyone else experienced this? Rather annoying to say the least, especially since I was over 60% through the game.

Lost saves after update :: RealRTCW RealRTCW General
The latest update just wiped all my save games and all settings. Game was crashing to desktop, but I fixed that issue. A bit sad that all my progress has been lost... help?
