I've enjoyed RE2, 3, and 4 remakes, but I have to say, the RE3 one was very short. I also preferred the end boss fight in 2 the most of any of them. I just felt it was more creative and challenging, whereas the other fights were kind of simpler and more repetitive.

However I still feel the Swarmak boss fight in Gears of War 4 trumps all RE boss fights. It's an epic battle, especially on Inconceivable if you don't use the easy cheese method. That said, I absolutely hated the cargo plane fight in GoW4 on Inconceivable, which is the one battle that's kept me from beating it on that mode. The fact that there's no checkpoint after blowing both of the plane engines and that they drop incendiary bombs that can cover most of the road makes it very hard.

The RE2 remake was a very good one, and faithful to the original as well. I've enjoyed it a lot.

Yeah I'd have to say of all of the RE Remakes, it's the one that has the most heart pounding suspense. You really need to know and plan your route well or the Lickers and Mr X will get you, or you'll have ammo issues. There were several times when figuring out best routes I had to narrowly avoid Mr X attacks. Learning how to dodge his attack while going opposite direction through doorways helped a lot.
