I couldn’t hold out anymore. I just need cores so I went back to HEDT. With GPU upgrades, much like EE FX-1, x58, x99, x299 I will stay on this for the next several years and then eventually platform hop again.

Definitely not a full spool. Filament goes a long way, even if your doing 100% infill (assuming a housing as described). I think the housing for my media server was less than $3 USD worth of PLA+.

I was looking at the Red Devil RX7800XT this arvo which is on special but if it only has red LED lighting I'm not that keen on it

It’s full ARGB with either devilzone software or if it’s like the 7900xtx, should also sync with your motherboard. Also, you can set once with the DZ software and never open again if you choose. The settings are stored on the board.

Is there a big price jump to the 7900GRE? They’re almost the same price in the US.

Heh. I forgot to post it but I just got a $30 espresso machine. Surprisingly decent once you get the hang of it.

Im a big fan of the Inteso or the regular 5/10 (medium roast) Rossa.

Been slowly trying out the lavazza range when I can find it on discount.

Rossa is currently £12.99 but I have had them as low as 11.99 from some local supermarkets here.

Yeah we can't get the GRE here in Gougelandastan (NZ) but the Sapphire nitro+ is the same price $976 so it's a toss up between the two as to which one to grab

Well looks like I'll be going with the Red Devil and will be picking it up as car needs a good run soon as they advise me it's ready to go

Picked up 2x Arctic p14 and p14 slim fans for push/pull on the radiator in my main pc. As for my extra rig for experiments... I killed a memory channel in either the cpu or mb. Haven't done super thorough testing other than running at defaults and moving different sticks around the board. Only one channel remains. Too bad because I bought another 360mm radiator, 3 more XSPC 120mm fans and installed them with no platform to play with.

Why do you want to replace a 6800 XT with a 7800 XT? Is it failing? Just asking because the performance difference is nothing to write home about.
