Normally, They are between £9-10 each depending on breaking strain. But I saw them at under £8 each.

25th of Aug is a bit of a bummer but I think i'll survive.

'Sick' is just hipster branding - Berkley are from the USA so everything has to be rolling around on skateboards and be totally rad

As for the rest:

TL;DR - its a type of fishing line that is virtually invisible in the water because it doesnt reflect light as much (or not at all) compared to regular fishing line. In theory, this spooks the fish less as they cant see it which in turn should help catch more fish.

The rest has pretty much been explained above.

It is an audio cable from the laptop's headphone out to my audio mixer that feeds my speakers and good headphones.

I deal with fluorocarbons at work, regularly. They are, in my experience, universally gaseous and would be a poor choice for a fishing line.

The only plastic-type material I would possibly describe as a fluorocarbon would be PFV, a slightly more stable form of PVC. Or possibly PVDF, if they wanted to find the most expensive plastic to make fishing line from.

Yeah. I think Crocodile Dundee did it best when he used dynamite for fishing. Cant get better than that.

Its fishing line but Its mostly used as a fishing leader, so short lengths of about 8-12" as it is expensive, although you can buy a big spool of it that costs a little less and spool a reel up with it like you would any reel with mono. The most cost effective solution is using it as a leader though, thats really all you need.

I've got the same enclosure. For some reason, I can't make it work with any other USB cable than its own. If you do, let me know how it goes.

Did you use longer cables or the same length? Length has a lot to do with it. Its all to do with the cable itself not being able to carry enough voltage through.

If you dont mind USB A to USB C. Try using this cable

I didn't think of that. I tried longer ones, and the only one that doesn't drop the drive is an USB 2.0 one.

The longer the cable, the more resistance the energy or signal has to fight through to get through to the other end. I think some electricians call it ohms law or something to that nature.

Same thing applies with most cables, network cables, HDMi cables etc, Even optical cables.

Because I have an open case with most of the time the tempered glass panels removed, as a consequence a reletively low airflow over my four RAM modules (which in a well ventilated closed case is normally no issue).
Since they are not very high-end modules (G.Skill F4-3600DC16D-32TGVKC), they don't have temp sensors in them but do feel rather warm to the touch. More so does the RAM power supply/VRM on the mainboard, located just beside the RAM slots (see FLIR picture below).

Note; the left RAM module is much cooler because I had a P14 fan blowing over the VRM cooling blocks, so for me enough proof some airflow will help. Will see when it arrives and I have installed it.

I know it's not a necessity, but I think some directed airflow will at least help a little and it will look good in my taste.
And for the skeptics amongst us, I do not care so much about the noise of the small fans they are PWM so I'll controll them to find a sweetspot. Did the same with the X570 chipset fan, never annoys me and actually only spins when tweaking/benching.

Corsair has a similar design but I had mounting issues with their solution. If this doesn't work out for you, you can try this Jonsbo solution below. I got it and the mounting is fantastic and the RGB even has a inline plug so you can daisy chain another RGB device.

Got the deal for under $200 with shipping from the last deal that included $20 gift card - fun is on the way.

Just did a total rebuild. Everything but the case which was pretty new. Ryzen 9 7900 on an Asus 650 MOBO, 64gig DDR5 6000, 4TB storage, and a 4070FE. I already had a Corsair 750 watt PSU. Monitor is 1440p at 165hz. I'm sure that this rig will rock any game I throw at it, and I'm not even a gamer! I use it for music production and a virTual Theater pipe organ simulation. I do not even bother with sound sources from MOBOs and the like. My sound "card" is a Presonus USB 96 outboard Audio and MIDI interface. Probably the audio equivalent of a 4090. I need that for the pipe organ simulation which drives Voice of the Theater three way 15's and two additional powered 15" subs. By the way that sound system really rocks for games and movies, too!
