I know some here will call me crazy (
my wife fully agrees ), but I just ordered an Alseye C-RAM Air Cooler on Ali.

Because I have an open case with most of the time the tempered glass panels removed, as a consequence a reletively low airflow over my four RAM modules (
which in a well ventilated closed case is normally no issue).
Since they are not very high-end modules (
G.Skill F4-3600DC16D-32TGVKC), they don't have temp sensors in them but do feel rather warm to the touch. More so does the RAM power supply/VRM on the mainboard, located just beside the RAM slots (
see FLIR picture below).

Note; the left RAM module is much cooler because I had a P14 fan blowing over the VRM cooling blocks, so for me enough proof some airflow will help. Will see when it arrives and I have installed it.
I know it's not a necessity, but I think some directed airflow will at least help a little and it will look good in my taste.
And for the skeptics amongst us, I do not care so much about the noise of the small fans they are PWM so I'll controll them to find a sweetspot. Did the same with the X570 chipset fan, never annoys me and actually only spins when tweaking/benching.
